Why is UoL 1st Place Bye?

I'm just confused. G2 had a better season record and beat them in the head-to-head. Why isn't G2 1st Place Bye? Why did UoL get it instead?

2 groups. UOL was 1st in Group B while G2 was 1st in Group A.

Group A leader(G2) and Group B leader(UOL) both are given first round byes because they both lead in their "division"/"conference". G2 are the #1 seed while UOL are the #2 seed.
