SKT1 World Champs 2017?

So far they are 3 for 3 in Worlds tournaments. Until that changes, they are the safest bet to win it all. I was a fan of SKT ever since I first watched Worlds back in Season 3. Watching Faker's plays, Impact dominating top lane, Bengi with his clutch timing, and Piglet alongside PoohManDu beating the heavily favored Uzi bot...it was fun to watch and cheer for. I especially loved last year seeing Bengi come up HUGE in the semifinals to carry SKT through, and get some of the limelight and fame he deserved for being a key member of three championship lineups. I wouldn't mind seeing SKT win once more this year.

That said, I wouldn't be too sad to see another region win the cup and herald in a new time when other teams are catching up to Korea's level.

Until someone else miraculously wins a worlds, it's not "who is going to win this year?" but "how will SKT win this year?"

i seriously doubt anyone but the reigning champs will go home with the large cup.

Very likely, SKT are very good when it comes to BO3/BO5. How many teams can beat them on their best day in those matches, probably just one comes close every year

I think it is very doubtfull SKT will be the winners this year. They have looked much weaker in the BO1s compared to previous years. We don't know if this shaky performance will be seen back in the BO5s. Meanwhile LZ, who has beaten SKT in their play-offs, has been looking as strong as ever. SKT has nothing going for them at the moment besides that they have won Worlds previously.
