H2K sweeps Unicorns of Love and looks towards Worlds
H2K has done it!
After almost making us seasick with their back-and-forth matches against the Unicorns of Love, H2K were eventually able to right their ship and take home 3rd place in the 2015 EU LCS Summer Split in just three games.
Both teams came out confident and kept things close in Game 1, but H2K immediately put the pressure on in Game 2 before almost getting pushed overboard by Tamás “Vizicsacsi” Kiss' Gangplank. H2K rallied back though, and went even harder early on in Game 3. The Unicorns put up a fight, but were unable to overcome the monstrous advantages H2K had built up. After the series, we caught up with H2K's AD carry Petter "Hjärnan" Freyschuss and support Raymond "kaSing" Tsang for their thoughts on playing on the big stage in Stockholm, Sweden, and what they need to focus on ahead of the 2015 World Championship.
"It's a really good feeling," says H2K's resident Swede Hjärnan about playing in front of the fans in Stockholm. "It's better than when we were at Madrid, the home crowd feels better!"

The two certainly put on a show for the Swedish fans, although they both admit there's room for H2K to improve as they move forward. For kaSing, he says his team shouldn't play so afraid going into future games. "We should play our own game," he explains. "In the first game, the early game was fine. But mid game we just got too greedy or got too afraid to contest some stuff. And after, we gave them back a lead for no reason. I feel like, as long as we're comfortable and know how to play our comp efficiently, then we shouldn't have any problems."
Hjärnan agreed, "We get too afraid to force stuff," he said. "I think against better teams, like at Worlds if we go there, then we need to play really confident if we're ahead or they'll just pick us off one by one and we'll lose games."
Yet even though they didn't push their advantages, kaSing was still pleased with how his team came together against the Unicorns of Love. "I was actually surprised how well we adapted to what they picked," he says. "Everyone put on their focus face and didn't let anything stop them from focusing on the game."

Especially Ryu, who was so fixated on winning Game 2 that he didn't even let Hjärnan have his pentakill. "[Ryu] said it's fine, just focus!" laughs kaSing.
But Hjärnan didn't think it was as funny. "He stole my penta!"
With their 3-0 win, H2K is in a prime position to head to 2015 World Championship as one of the three EU LCS representatives. In the event Fnatic earn the top seed with a win against Origen, H2K will earn the 2nd seed with their Championship Points. Yet if Fnatic fall, H2K's still in a great spot, as they'll have the 1st seed heading into the EU LCS Regional Qualifier.

In the event H2K do head to the gauntlet, kaSing's got his eye on one team in particular. "I want to play against Roccat, because we're 1-1 with them and I want to show everyone we can be the better team."
And who do they want to play at Worlds? "SKT," says Hjärnan, looking ahead to international competition. "They were the best once and they look really strong again. I really want to play against Faker. I've looked up to him, he's the best player, so it would be really cool to face him."
We'll see which road H2K will walk down when Fnatic take on Origen in the 2015 EU LCS Summer Split Finals tomorrow.
