This thread, like this post, was a knee jerk reaction to a single game. I don't think anyone truly believes CLG 100% sucks.

#1 rule of competition= dont underestimate the other team. thats why people lose to whats considered easy games.

I think your post is a knee jerk reaction to the title of the first post of the thread. If you actually bothered to read the thread, you would notice that most people are not saying that CLG sucks but complaining that CLG is not respecting ANX.

You literally just supported my point that nobody is saying CLG completely sucks and that this thread and thus his response was a knee jerk reaction...

This thread was a knee jerk reaction to the fact that CLG has lost to ANX twice and they state that CLG sucks.

Solidarius then also has a knee jerk reaction to the original post, which I then responded to by saying (I will admit rather harshly and obscurely), that the main point of this thread was to express discontent with CLG after their performance against a wildcard team, not actually saying they suck.

This Thread is largely not saying CLG sucks, the majority of the Thread says nothing of the sort. Did you even read the thing? or did you read the OP and Solidarius' post and just conclude that the entire thread was one big knee jerk reaction with no thoughtful posts whatsoever? I think it was the latter.

Also, your insistence that the fact the thread isn't a knee jerk reaction is proof that it is a knee jerk reaction is simply circular.

You know, as bad as G2 played, they are played consistent throughout worlds.

CLG? One week they beat G2, rox, next week they are losing to anx. 15k deficit by 27 min ahhaah

um, actually they lost to ANX last weak as well. For some reason, no matter how many times CLG loses against wild card teams, they refuse to take those guys seriously. ANX deserves to be taken seriously with their crisp play. CLG's refusal to do so is just is getting absurd at this point.

I didn't mean to correct you, I was just elaborating that their throwing games against ANX is becoming a trend. Honestly, if CLG played well, ANX might still win, but CLG doesn't need to be handing it to them for free.

yea I would also like to suck 100% of the time instead of have "fans" just for them to be disappointed 40-60% of the time

I feel your pain. Forever it seemed, TSM always managed to beat better NA teams only to go to world and lose in absurd fashion. Sometimes a team is a strong fit for a regional meta while completely being mismatched for the world meta.

I think its less clg the players and more the coach this game. I normally dont shjt talk pros but zikz really should hang his head in shame at that draft. Nothing about that team meshes with clgs playstyle. Makes you wonder if the tinfoil hats are needed is worlds really scripted.

It is a matter of respect. Albus Nox has proven they are a great team. CLG respects Rox and G2 though. As a result, they play really well against those two teams. CLG still seems to consider ANX a free win. As a result, CLG play against ANX is terrible and they get opportunities that against CLG that Rox and G2 just don't get.

mh, from the looks of it it´s 0-6 the dream...

i´m really sad with the teams eu sent this year, fnatic surly would have done a lot better despite their troublesome season. gosh even uol and giants would have at least taken 1game from a clg that is really not looking great either.

RELIEF. I don't know about CLG looking bad. CLG only doesn't look great against ANX. Against G2 and even Rox Tigers, they look solid enough. They are a good team, they just aren't taking ANX as seriously as they need to. Honestly I think the EU Servers are very weak. EU is the Fanatic show and hasn't really kept up with the support staff like NA has and it doesn't seem like they have been as obsessed as NA has about bringing foreign talent into the EU Server. Of course, EU has good individual talent, and support staff can be improved quickly. So I think EU can easily come back and be potent next season. NA did it after the disastrous year they had last year.

And now CLG can advance to Quarters. All they have to do is shut out the best Korean team and tournament favorites. I fear I will end the night disappointed.
