Bring on the Twisted Treeline

I believe the competitive aspect of the Twisted Treeline should be made more accessible to the community, because it really has the potential to spice up the LoL scene. I would like to see the Twisted Treeline enter the stage in Season 4 or 5. This could someday lead us to Tournaments, Analysis, Interviews, Live Coverage, a Challenger series or even LCS-like series that could fill in the "off-days" between LCS days.

There are a few areas where the Twisted Treeline doesn't get as much love as the Summoners Rift. So here some dearly needed functionality to enable the TT community to grow:

  • Add Twisted Treeline High-Elo Ranked Games to the Featured Games to spectate from the Start Screen
  • Enable Normal Draft Pick for the Twisted Treeline (Picks and Bans are so important on TT)
  • Add Solo Ranked Queue for the Twisted Treeline (already requested here)

TL;DR: The Twisted Treeline is held back behind it's big brother Summoners Rift. Give the competitive TT community a fair chance to grow.

I think this would be a cool idea but I have to imagine running one competitive esport is fairly difficult, let alone trying to get a second one off the ground. They might be ramping up for it with the way they are making changes to champion based on the map the are played in, but it will still take a while for something like that to happen.

That being said, which things would you be interested in seeing first? I'd assume getting a Normal Draft Pick would be a good first step towards that goal and seeing how it works from there. Would love to see Riot go in this direction for both Twisted Treeline and Dominion but only time will tell.
