Cloud 9 and TSM debut the future of LoL esports

Cloud 9 and TSM are about to debut the future of League of Legends, the Ultra Rapid Fire update. Set to go live this coming preseason, this massive update turns every match into a white knuckle thrill ride. Full patch notes are here, but here’s a hit list of the biggest changes.

Every champion begins the game with 80% cooldown reduction on abilities, activated items and summoner spells
Casting spells is fun, but running out of mana isn’t, so mana and energy costs have been removed
Marksmen could stand to dole out tons more damage, so attack speed bonuses for ranged champions have been doubled

Watch TSM and Cloud 9 strive to be the first pros to claim an Ultra Rapid Fire victory after today’s regularly scheduled LCS games. If you want to take your own shot at Ultra Rapid Fire glory, spin up a game now in a special queue that’s already live!

MutatedMango commented that nothing will beat Showdown, but Showdown suffered from being too short and didn't see a lot of play as a whole. If anything, it was probably (and unfortunately) the worse mode to have been released thus far.

compleete april fools, league i love the ideal, it has never been pitched, now on april fools a game mode comes out and " the feature of LoL" would of had me if it would of be mentioned on surrender at 20 at few weeks ago, but it wasnt so happy april fools to you

No it is not a submission nor essay program, it is a MOBA. But since this is a forum for discussions about LoL it would be nice to be able to understand what one another are saying and this guy makes absolutely no sense. Taking the time to proofread is worth the 15 seconds or so otherwise if it is not worth the time, why bother even posting?

Too bad it's April Fools day :) It does sound pretty awesome however, with half death timers it might even have been belieavable for a few minutes. Nice one though :)
