wtf is wrong with these announcers?
all the announcers can apparently speak. yet they need to use their hands. i dont get it.. how are you all announcers?

Most people gesture while they talk, especially when they are excited.
I frequently gesture while I'm on the phone... I know they can't see it, but it helps me to visualize what I'm saying and explain it better. Probably the same for them.

i just think its silly. i don't get what talking with your hands accomplishes and is hard to watch their commentary. i understand they are professionals. but real professionals don't need their hands to talk. thats why we have mouths.
If you can talk without using your hands, great. Most people do it without hardly noticing what they're doing. 'Bout the same as swinging your arms when you walk. You can do it without, but it feels weird.
