Aerilux5 votesIf amazing hadnt jumped out like an idiot, went with the team, and waited until they got to one wave outside their own base, they could have taken both inhibitors, backed and let the game stall with two lanes pushed with super minions. At that point they could nuture the lanes and eventually force the bottom turrent and inhibitor. Without a single fight (where they were clearly outmatched), TSM could have had the minions win for them. Shame.

White would have been so demoralized TSM could have walked all over them in game 5 like they did to LMQ in the Regionals.

Bjergsen only faced one decent mid, and Pawn raped Bjergsen, hang on to that overhyped bad mid player as much as possible. There is a reason why Bjergsen, will only be referred to as the best mid in NA and not the world. Got to love NA fan boys....
Actually the best way to describe TSM would be England, in football or soccer, when they go to a world cup they are always overhyped and fail to deliver when it all counts. xD

White: 1st Korean team that TSM has ever defeated. (i.e. proof that TSM has gotten better, as opposed to their S2 version that went [I believe] 0-7 against Koreans [0-2/0-3 against Blaze in some kind of Summer tourney, and 0-2 against Frost at S2 Worlds]).
EDG: China's best team, they couldn't take a game off White. TSM did.
Na'Jin: Already defeated twice so far this tournament by non-Koreans.
EU: ZERO teams in the final 8.
SEA: ZERO teams in the final 8.
If NA sucks, then what does that make China, whose best team couldn't beat White? What does that make EU & SEA, not to mention every other small-time region...?
Face it, NA is clearly catching up to, if not outright surpassing, most other regions in front of your very eyes; and you can't come to grips with that fact.

I mean "yah TSM did put up a good fight and take one game off SSW, but saying TSM would of win if "bla bla bla ..." is just wrong". Why do you all praise TSM "beautiful rotation" in game 4 and not praise SSW for dominated in game 1 and 2. Give SSW some credit will you.

Shen Daddy1 votesWhy should they? SSW would have been the better team even w/o it. They'd have the bettter strategy, synergy, teamwork, and mechanics in all roles. They saw the weakness and exploited the hell out of it. In s2/s3 the Koreans would gank the hell out of Dyrus, send him on tilt, and watch him and TSM with him, crumble. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I try to do the same thing in ranked, but if you were an analyst for world's would you find it praiseworthy?

This is because they were simply meeting an expectation by winning. The underdog, with very little in the way of expectations, will always receive more praise if they put up a good fight like TSM did.
xFr0zin12 votesThe reason people aren't praising SSW is because they were supposed to stomp TSM. It was supposed to be an easy 3-0 for them. People praise TSM because they knew the odds and refused to give up. They put up a hell of a fight against a team they were supposed to get destroyed by. SSW did what they were supposed to do, TSM did something nobody expected them to do. That is why TSM is getting a lot of praise, while SSW isn't.

Lstrike1 votesYou know, this is one of the reasons why NA/EU will never catch upto Koreans. Yes TSM are underdogs and noone expected them to win (even they believed the same).. But why should they be underdogs? They are the most experienced team in the tournament. They also have the coach, analysts etc.. that the Korean teams have. They also have played together for as long as the Korean teams have (some roster changes excluded). They are also the same age group as the Koreans..

Ària2 votesBeing in the NA/EU scene makes them underdogs both the infrastructure and support in Korea is far better. Locodoco and most of their analysts just arrived this year, whereas Koreans have had them for a good 2 seasons now at least. Everything about any team from the west automatically makes them underdogs because we're both a younger and less experienced scene. Mechanically we're also fucking sloppy as hell at times.
Age group means almost diddly squat. This isn't physical sports.

Ària2 votesYes SSW did well the first two games. Let me just highlight how sloppy they were game 3 and 4. Because yes it WAS THAT BAD. TSM behind 2 games should have been psychologically broken and should have been swept by the opposing team in game 3, yet from the ashes they were able to, from SSW's lack of vision control completely stomp them. In game 4 TSM down in both gold, kills, and exp successfully out-rotated a Korean team. This is a region well known for playing objectively. HAD Amazing not been an idiot they could have taken free inhibs and either stalled out game 4, or back doored SSW nexus to bring series 2-2 and push into game 5.

himurax3x4 votesThis is in regard to everyones opinion, kinda universal, but yes I'm a huge TSM fan always will, honestly though Samsung White's experience and synergy is just on a different level than TSM. But what people don't realize especially TSM fans, its about there progression over the past year their play has advanced so much, there strategy and understanding of the landing phase to mid late game has improved so much. Yes game 3 was in super favor do to the lack luster of SSW, but who knows what will happen next year. Im not trying to boost NA or the US for the matter, but look at soccer for example. America has been absolutely horrible in the past and now they're competing with top teir international teams. What most don't understand is the world stage is a lot more frightening than it seems. This is their job, their living, the pressure is unreal, especially when you know the team you are facing has been breed to play video games. For that matter, i see real potential for TSM in the future, their skill level can only get better, their understanding and choices can only improve. Quick note too anyone who says Turtle is lacking in skill your false. He's been 1 in NA solo que for a while now (back and forth within top 5 i should correct myself). He's the reason i became a fan of TSM, and in all honesty the day he leaves is the day i resign from being a fan. Take a look at his enthusiasm, he's all smiles he brings such happiness to the team. He's part of the balance and is so crucial to their success. Plus is tristana play is remarkable most of the time as well as his lucian. Not to keep on going but i think that Amazing is lacking a little too but not because of his skill but because he hasn't been able to adjust to the complete team as much as they'd like and thats ok. I believe in their progression and there incredible comebacks thats why i like them not cause i think they're the best. One love everyone, and enjoy the rest of worlds. I have a weird feeling SHR is gonna take the crown this year.

They say all this and yet here was NA in the quarterfinals and taking games off of Korean teams. This is after they beat other international teams in the group stages to advance this far. I mean, how stupid or hate-filled do these people have to be?

Teriyaki 6ix5ive2 votesTo be honest I think TSM needs someone to analyze their opponents and point out their flaws and weaknesses, like Alex does for C9, along with LemonNation's notebook. So far they've been doing good, but getting too overconfident at times, as such happpened when they were against SK Gaming. I feel a little hurt to say this, but I believe that Turtle is the weak link on the team right now. Don't get me wrong, he's good, but I feel like he just isn't as top notch as he should be right now. I think TSM would be better with an aggressive but smart adc, like Piglet or WeiXiao, just the thought of that kind of synergy with Lustboy would be godlike. Sorry Turtle, I still love you, but you need to step it up a notch, or step down from the chair.
The Gee7 votesTurtle actually played decent in the series vs SSW beating Imp in farm regularly. Honestly, TSM's biggest problem is Amazing, he's probably the worst jungler in the pro scene (in my opinion). His champ pool consists of Lee Sin, you could say he also plays Kha'Zix and J4 but both of those always feel like lackluster performances where he will never (or rarely) make any game impacting plays. He got outsmited at times he really shouldn't have and just made glaringly bad plays.
In the first game he took a poor jungle path and had to jump away from twitch (at the top inner tower), he then got hooked by thresh and when thresh dropped he box he actually flashed in to the box wall, killing himself. I know he was Bjerg's jungler back in EU, but he just doesn't cut it when his champ pool is so shallow it gets focused out every game with 1 ban. On top of that, Lee is banned because any pro level jungler can make plays on him.
TLDR; turtle played better than normal vs SSW and Amazing is a weak link and should be replaced
Shen Daddy2 votesHonestly I think the same, except I think that his champ pool needs to increase, some of his better champs are out of meta due to nerfs and the scene so he needs to pull a Dade and increase it in response. It's his decisionmaking that needs to improve the most. w/ Dyrus you know what you get, Bjergsen too. Lustboy has been great for turtle, but inevitably it ends up being Amazing dying the most in everything. Replacing him is premature but he really does need to step it up if they wanna compete.

sinZsoul4 votesTurtle may not be in as bad of shape as you think. I actually started to think for a while that WildTurtle was on the decline. However, I read this article: http://na.lolesports.com/articles/numbers-adcs-worlds. To sum up the main points about WildTurtle. He did around 560-580 damage per a minute (dpm) on average to champions. This is the fifth most dpm out of all the 16 adcs at worlds. He was barely beat by Namei while Imp, Deft, and Uzi were at the very top. Turtle loses lane yes, but does that matter when you flat out beat your opponent in damage dealt to champions? Also below it shows another very interesting stat: Damage taken per a minute divided by deaths. This shows an adc's capacity to take damage and survive. In this record, WildTurtle is actually second. Only Imp is better than Turtle at taking damage and surviving. Finally, there's actually another article (the one that says like imp's something something and other stats) that details how WildTurtle actually ties for the least deaths (7) out of all the players at Worlds.
Yes, WildTurtle can make some questionable plays. Yes, he does lose lane a ton. However, he is not nearly as bad as most people make him out to be. If you could find a godlike adc like deft or imp or uzi to replace him, by all means go ahead. However, that's incredibly hard and Turtle is definitely a top tier adc.

ITNrVXvE0C1 votesI just love how game 2 shows that taking the wraith camp after your first buff is bad and wrong. With all the crazy invading and singed proxy pushing going on it looked a bit crazy but in the end what actually happend was that kha starts red goes right to blue while j4 is stuck doing thw whole wraith camp for no reason. He loses the buff cause hes just a little to late at blue. Yeah singed helped, yeah they had this invading going on, but singed didnt help kha at red only at blue. So kha was actually just as fast as he would be if nothing happend.
