For the 2014 All-Star Challenge Pick 10, we put more control in your hands than we ever have before. And if the votes are any indication, there's no question that you were up for the challenge. We asked you to build not one but two dream teams by choosing one champion for each role on each team for a total of ten unique champions. Well the results are in, and while we saw lots of crazy combinations, here are the champions that you wanted to see duking it out at the All-Star event the most:

This year's All-Star event is shaping up to be seriously exciting. So far you've told us who you wanted to see manning the sixth positions for the Hexakill showdown, what champion has to be fielded by both teams in U.R.F. mode, and now you've chosen your dream teams for the All-Star Pick 10. But we're not done yet! We still have one really awesome trick left up our sleeve, and we're saving that one for last. I love how 3/5 on each team are the same XD I expected the Vayne and Thresh for Ice for obvious reasons, but didn't expect to see lucian and thresh right there for fire as well. Though that Zed v Anivia might be interesting, and unfair.

I hate to say what everyone else has already said, but really guys? Not only did we vote for champions that already see a lot of play, but we gave both teams literally the same composition with two differences. Way to go, LoL community, for homogenizing an otherwise very interesting game.

I was SERIOUSLY hoping for Ice-themed champions vs. Fire-themed champions. (Corki in place for ADC as I cannot think of a fire adc). Very disappoint. item 3151

Here's what I voted for for each team.

Team Ice: Anivia, Malzahar, Swain, Taric and Teemo.

Team Fire: Kassadin, Malzahar, Skarner, Soraka and Vel'Koz.

A shame that most of the community wanted standard "non standard meta-breaking" team comps, but oh well, maybe next time and next year hopefully.

Next All-Star I propose this mode : Blind Pick 10, but EVERY CHAMPION that had more than 10% pick/ban rate all season are AUTOMATICALLY BANNED.

Sad to see such an oppertunity go to waste. It would be so fun to see uncommon champions, but noooooooooooo. It just had to be the champions we already see - every time - in the LCS, LPL, OGN & GPL.

my picks ( Teemo, Veiger, Yorick, Rammus, Sion, Rengar, Galio, Skarner, and Mordekaiser.) like any of these choice since i dont really see them use any, or the Melee only champion choice =)

I feel like everyone complaining about the diversity of picks is failing to realise this one simple reality: There are always going to be a group of people who will vote for the meta pick because that's pretty much all that they know. There are going to be loads of awesome people, too, who vote for unusual, interesting picks, but because there are just so MANY champions in LOL, these unusual picks will be thinly spread around when compared to the more common picks. Yes, a lot of us want new and original picks, but to get them to see the light of day, we had to have coordinated them on a larger scale.
