Esports "Streak for the Points"
ESPN has an app called "Streak For the Cash" where people correctly guess the outcomes of sporting events(ranging from baseball and football to cricket and tennis). The goal is to determine the outcome of the matches/scenarios correctly 30 times in a row for an ultimate prize of $30,000. (next month it's up to $1,000,000). I was thinking riot should make something similar to this, but instead of sports, its eSports matches (obviously) and the user has the opportunity to guess other scenarios such as "How many dragons will be taken by Elements?" Then, the player has the chance to choose between two outcomes (i.e "less than two or more than two"). You may be asking, "Well, instead of money, what would the user win?" RP. Its a fun, competitive and easy way to obtain RP if a player doesn't have the money or REALLY wants that new DJ Sona skin. However, there should be some price to pay (no, not real money, or IP/RP). The player should be at least level 30, and have done their Ranked placement matches in order to be eligible to participate. And for ESPN's version of the game, its the first to get to 30 correct guesses. Instead of that, the first FIVE people to guess correctly for 30 consecutive situations or scenarios will win a certain amount of RP (I can't imagine it would be more than 2500). And as each month goes by, the winning prize of RP continues to go up little by little (maybe by, say +550RP/month if no one has reached 30 yet)
Oh also, when/if someone DOES win, the amount of RP resets to a base of about 1,000. Make it fair for everyone. This could be a website, or app, depending on how Riot wants to play this out. Good idea, eh? (crossing my fingers that a Riot employee sees this)
Let me know what you think!
