Congratulations to the winners of the NA LCS Expansion Tournament: Curse Academy and Team Coast! The NA LCS Expansion Tournament wrapped up this weekend at the ESL Studios in Burbank, California. As the last four teams standing, Final Five, Fusion Gaming, Curse Academy, and Team Coast competed live for one of the two new available spots in the NA LCS. Over a fierce three days of competition, Curse Academy and Team Coast emerged as the newest members of the 10-team NA LCS. Hopefully Fusion stay together. They were one game away from making it into the LCS and they've only been together for a couple months. Imagine their ceiling!

I agree, I think they are all LCS-level players individually, they just need to get their teamwork straightened out. I want to see them in the Summer Split please :)

Nien has been a god for FSN. I was really pulling for them. Its kind of a bummer that he has been hiding in top lane.

True this, Fusion have only played together for like ~2 months. They've already shown they have the mechanics for LCS, they just need to work on their synergy/teamwork now and they'll easily get into LCS next CS.

Not to surprised these 2 made it in the lcs. Though I was a bit worried when coast lost the first 2 games. Will be great additions to the lcs and it'll be pretty funny seeing crs academy beat curse

Crs acadamy's spot/lineup will be bought by another sponsor/organization. It's not even sure if Saint will stay with the lineup, apparently he's doubting between going back into LCS with this lineup or keep training potential talents on a new CA Team with his veteran experience.

IMO Fusion needs to build a better team changing NintendudeX and Gleeb. They are not LCS level players. And of course, improve their teamwork.

Maknoon isn't any better. The best players on fusion were Nien and Huhi

Did you just say Maknoon isn't any better? lol, he's a veteran that's been playing since Najin Sword was good in S2. By the way, some of the games Maknoon played with Fusion, he carried.

Just because they are a veteran doesn't mean they don't play bad. Maknoon rarely carries, most of the games he feeds and he gets caught out ALOT.

Are you a blind fanboy or what? "Some of the games Maknoon played he carried" You don't say my friend, he's also the one that got caught out the most the entire series vs coast (together with gleeb) and did you see his rumble ults? Such a big tool for fusion's teamfighting yet he kept using it to try and force an engage (which failed 90% of the times)

Thank god, someone else noticed. Everyone kept hyping Maknoon up, and most of the games I saw he kept getting caught out and killed on his own somewhere. Of course he's still a great player, but I honestly saw him as one of the players that held Fusion back in that final series. I think Fusion also should've kept playing with their sub instead of switching Gleeb back in. Just expressing my honest opinion.

NintendudeX needs to widen his champion poule. Only champ he performs on is Jarvan and if that gets taken away he goes for Elise, which isn't that great for teamfighting.

am i the only one who watched the streams and didn't like where the LCS is heading? I mean every single game was the first team to destroy 1 inhibitor wins. at least to me

So is Curse Academy a separate organization from Curse, or did the original Curse disband? Because aren't organizations only allowed 1 team? (Like Samsung)
