NA LCS Spring Finals Survival Guide
We are very excited to have the Mandalay Bay Events Center host the NA LCS Spring Finals this weekend! We’ve put together this FAQ to help those watching League of Legends live or visiting the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for the first time.

How do I get to the Mandalay Bay Events Center?
The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is located at 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Below are walking directions to the Events Center from two locations on the property:
From Front Desk: Begin walking through the casino floor towards Citizens Kitchen + Bar. Walk past KUMI and towards Stripsteak. Follow the walkway around past Starbucks and take the first right down the long hallway towards the Mandalay Bay Events Center Entrance.
From Parking Garage: Walk straight past LIGHT nightclub. Turn to the right at Lupo and walk past Citizens Kitchen + Bar, and past KUMI and towards Stripsteak. Follow the walkway around past Starbucks and take the first right down the long hallway towards the Mandalay Bay Events Center Entrance.
What games are being played?
Saturday, April 16: Team Liquid vs. Immortals (Bo5, 3rd place match)
Sunday, April 17: Counter Logic Gaming vs. TSM (Bo5, Finals)
What’s on the line?
The winner of the Spring Finals on April 17 will automatically qualify for the 2016 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational in Shanghai, China. Additionally, each team participating is fighting for Championship Points which contribute towards qualification for the 2016 World Championship.
What time do doors open?
Doors open at 10AM PT on both April 16 and April 17.
When does the event start?
The event will begin on both April 16 and 17 as early as 12PM PT, immediately following the EU LCS Spring Finals broadcast.
Will there be other things to do once I get there?
We’ll have the EU LCS Spring Finals broadcast going on at the venue on both days. Concessions and merch will be available for purchase.
Additionally, join us after the show for an event at Gameworks Las Vegas on Saturday evening following the third place match.
Can I take photos / videos at the event?
There is absolutely no filming or photos allowed on the casino floor.
Inside the Events Center, we encourage photos and videos from your seat but leave monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, and large rigs at home. Generally, anything that can block the view or disrupt the experience of the others around you is a no-go.
Will there be swag at the event?
Yes! We will be tossing out swag before and after each match.
Will there be food for sale during the event?
Yes, concessions will be available.
Is re-entry available?
No, once you exit the venue, you cannot re-enter.
Can I bring my own food / drink?
Outside food is not allowed inside the venue. Drinks are allowed as long as they are transferred into a venue approved container.
Where can I smoke?
There are two smoking areas located near sections 110 and 115.
Can I bring a backpack?
No backpacks are allowed inside the venue. Please leave any bags in hotel rooms or in parked vehicles.
Is there a coat check? Can I check my luggage?
There is no coat or baggage check at the venue, but if you are a guest at the Mandalay Bay you can check your luggage at the resort.
Where is Will Call?
Will Call is located at the Box Office near the front entrance near the casino. Review the the Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort map.
Are signs and banners allowed? Will there be a place where I can make my own?
Signs and banners are allowed as long as they do not exceed 22x28 (standard poster board) and do not obstruct other attendees. Guests whose signs or banners frequently obstruct others will be asked to put them away by event staff. All signs are subject to review by event staff and any signs that are deemed offensive will be confiscated and not returned.
Is there a cosplay entrance?
No, all cosplayers will enter through the main entrance at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
Due to venue restrictions, no cosplays that include a mask or prop of any kind will be allowed on the casino floor. If you do not have a prop or mask then, you can cross from the Events Center to the hotel. Do not loiter or take any photos on the casino floor at any time.
If you are staying at Mandalay Bay: Please speak to hotel staff, who can direct you to the West Valet entrance to enter the venue by turning right on Restaurant Row to get to the Events Center. Mandalay Bay security may also be able to escort you through the casino floor.
If you’re not staying at Mandalay Bay and driving yourself to the venue: Park in the West garage, and enter at the West Valet entrance, turning right at Restaurant Row to get to the Events Center.
If you’re not staying at Mandalay Bay and being dropped off: Make sure that you’re dropped off at the West Valet entrance, turning right at Restaurant Row to get to the Events Center.
What is the cosplay policy at NA LCS Spring Finals?
Mandalay Bay Events Center Cosplay Rules:
- All final decisions on costumes entering the facility shall be at the sole discretion of Mandalay Bay Events Center security.
- Your costume must be not be wider than 4 feet across, longer than 6 feet, or taller than 8 feet. Additionally, you must be able to easily maneuver your costume over stairs or ramps unassisted. You must also be able to sit in your seat while wearing your costume. There is no re-entry policy so if you leave to take off your costume, you will not be able to return to the venue.
- You must have unobstructed vision at all times (i.e., must not need to remove a piece of your costume in order to see).
- Armor cannot pose a threat to others by way of sharpened metal edges, spikes, or bladed surfaces.
- All swords or bladed weapons must be blunt-edged and cannot have a sharpened edge (no metallic or predominantly wooden weapons). No weapon may be sharp or pointy enough to cut or pierce someone with moderate pressure, or heavy enough to create a threatening club. Note: Worbla will be permitted, pending that it follows the above weapon restrictions.
- You may not bring firearms of any kind including air guns or cap guns, as well as any replica weapon (i.e., facsimiles or realistic versions of real-world weapons). Any firearm must be clearly of prop nature, and cosplayers will be responsible for proving that any potential firearm is non-dischargeable.
- Any bow-type weapons must be unstrung or strung with a low-tensile thread. All prop arrows must have non-metal, blunted tips.
- You may not include liquids, gels, or other substances which could cause a mess. (This will be at the discretion of Riot and/or Mandalay Bay Events Center staff).
- You may not use smoke effects, fire, explosives, or any other environmental hazard in any capacity.
- You may display your prop weapons only as costume pieces. Do not swing or brandish your prop in any way that could be considered unsafe or threatening.
- You may pose with a prop in a brandishing manner, so long as no reasonable person would interpret for anything other than dramatic effect. Event staff or management may stop you at their sole discretion.
- You may not use facepaint or makeup that completely conceals your identity. Removable masks are fine.
As a final note, everyone attending the NA LCS Spring Finals will need to have a ticket in order to enter the event.
