Ask The Pro is an ongoing series on lolesports.com, where we ask a pro player questions from the community. The player then picks the next pro the community will get to ask questions. Be sure to follow us on Twitter to submit your questions for the next Q&A! In our last Ask The Pro interview, we talked with Eugene "Pobelter" Park about playing on Winterfox, winning mid lane, and becoming a K-pop star. He also had a question for Fnatic's mid laner, Fabian "Febiven" Diepstraten: Pobelter: What did you expect from Fnatic before you joined? What motivated your decision to choose Fnatic over H2k? Febiven: I expected fresh blood with high skill-capped players and a lot of knowledge. Playing with four new players motivated me the most, because after one year of playing with the same guys, I felt like I needed different teammates.

Rising Star

Spyrone: Do you often get compared to xPeke? If so, how do you feel about it? F: I never get compared to xPeke. And if I did, I wouldn't mind because I know I'm at an equal skill level or better. Flyer: Do you like to live in a gaming house? What are the best/worst parts? F: Living in a gaming house is really cool because you live with people you like and often talk with. So it's a really nice atmosphere, which is the best part. I don't really have a bad part about living in a gaming house. Lewis: What's been your favorite moment of the LCS so far and what do you hope to achieve in the future? F: Winning against SK Gaming. It felt so good to break a team's huge winning streak.

Fitting in with Fnatic

Felipe: What's your opinion on teams importing Koreans to play in EU and NA? Did you have a voice in the decision to bring Seong "Huni" Hoon Heo and Kim "Reignover" Ui-jin to Fnatic? F: I think it's good to import players from Korea, if you know how good they are. But if you randomly take players, it's not going to work out. I didn't have a voice in taking Reignover or Huni. Ad: How confident were you in the Fnatic lineup going into the EU LCS? Did you think it'd be this strong? F: Yes, I did. We all have very high skill caps, so I was very confident. And we are continuing to improve every day, so we will be very strong in a few months. Joonas: Why do you perform better on Fnatic than on your previous teams? Is it just that you've been practicing more? F: I play better in Fnatic than previous teams because I continue to improve every day. So I'd say that it's because I'm practicing very hard. Jay: What was it like coming to a team with such a great dynasty as one of the "new guys"? F: It was really comfortable coming into the team, because I really wanted new teammates. We were all new in the team, so we had a good relationship from the beginning.

Winning Mid Lane

Francisco: Do you like the current meta, considering the diversity of mid lane champion picks? F: I like the current meta, because most of the champions who are strong are assassins and it really fits my playstyle. Eduardo: Which champion do you think is the absolute best to carry in solo queue as a mid player? F: I think LeBlanc is the absolute best champion to carry in solo queue. Season: If you could choose one champion who isn't viable in mid right now to be viable again, which one would it be? F: Riven, because she is really fun to play, has huge burst damage, and can make sick plays. By the way, Riven got me into high [leagues]! Twitch: What's the current state of Orianna? F: Orianna is bad in this meta because you need to scale up and win lane to be useful. I think she lacks damage as well and people can easily play around her ultimate. Phrike: Why do you first pick Zed? What's the strategy behind it? F: I prioritize Zed in the mid lane because he is the strongest in 1 vs. 1 scenarios. Spadur: Is Lissandra mid a good pick? She seems so powerful and I don't think she has any hard counter in the mid lane, except maybe Lux and Zyra. F: Yeah, Lissandra mid is an insanely strong pick right now.

Five Rapid Fire Questions

Northy: Would you rather fight one Malphite-sized Teemo or five Teemo-sized Malphites? F: One Malphite-sized Teemo. Fary: What would you be doing right this second if you hadn't become a pro-gamer? F: Go to school, play football, have a normal life. Gabriela: What are your non-LoL hobbies, and do you still manage to find time for them? F: I could make time for my hobbies, but I usually don't feel like making time for anything other than League of Legends. Kitsunox: What would you do if you had one week without the internet? F: Die of boredom. Leevi: Which one would you prefer: a romantic dinner with Huni, or a stupid breakfast with Reignover? F: Romantic dinner with Huni. LoLesports: Which pro player would you want to answer questions next? Would you like to ask him anything? F: ROCCAT's mid laner Erlend "Nukeduck" Våtevik Holm: Have you ever received a compliment on your haircut? Josh Augustine's favorite champion is Annie, he's never enjoyed a Darius, and he will always go for the kill, even when he knows he shouldn't. He currently works as a game designer on EverQuest Next at Daybreak Games. He’d love to talk with you on Twitter.

Can this Josh Augustine please stop switching favorite champions each week? The darius hate continues, but the champion love changes faster than Taylor Swift changes boyfriends... Keep up writing cool articles though!

Next split when Origen is back in the LCS we will see Febiven crying for ganks because xPeke is kicking his ass. Poor arrogant kid has no respect for the legends in lol

Wow, the answers could not be more lifeless. They even gave you some questions to have fun with and you managed to convey zero personality...

Did they have a say in picking you lol?

You know I was enjoying Fnatic this season and torn between the possibility of seeing them against Origen, who would I support. But now that I want to see xPeke make this guy cry I'm somewhat less impartial, I hope the rest of the team have a good game though
