Why is Kha'Zix played in LCS?

I've seen a few games (mostly NA i think) where Kha'Zix was picked for LCS matches, and I can't for the life of me understand why.

Kha'Zix is an assassin that thrives off of people being isolated and him not being seen, he has a nice amount of mobility once he gets upgraded E and he can manage to get kills and/or assists.

But thats the point, he thrives off of isolation, while I imagine that most LCS teams are coordinated enough to counter his isolation damage.

Let's say he goes in for a gank in mid lane. Kha'Zix gets the kill, and he gets stronger, OR he gives the kill and loses out on the snowballing potential, either of these scenarios, the team looses out. If he gets the kill, he gets more powerful but how most LCS games goes there tends to be one or multiple final fights where the result of the game is determined. Even if he is fed and snowballed (which would in turn mean that his teammates would NOT get this gold) he is still, in most scenarios, not reaching his full potential (because of the coordination required to play at this level), and if he gives away a lot of the kills, he is an assassin that is not fed, nor reaching his full potential.

I just don't understand why this champion is played as it almost requires the enemy team to make mistakes in positioning to get the full potential out of him. Why is he played in LCS? Khazix

His isolated Q spam makes objectives really easy for him and his team to get.

His evolved W change makes poking and wave clear good, and it slows everybody providing utility.

He's strong in LCS because of his objective control and strong poke utility in addition to being strong enough to duel any of the meta junglers as well as stay healthy and clear fast enough to keep pace with those meta junglers. While your typical snowball kha'zix from solo queue is unseen in LCS, he's by no means ever too weak to hold his own or properly be useful in other ways which we don't abuse in solo queue for uncooridinated team reasons (again objectives). Add in the safety of his E ability in general (leap) and he's not exactly easy to pick and kill compared to other immobile junglers/assassins.

If making mistakes in positioning wasn't a common occurence in LCS, you'd hardly see a lot of champions which specifically punish that in LCS. Elise LeeSin Graves Rengar Nidalee

Upgraded E, you mean? If you don't know which ability is his jump, you clearly don't know anything about the champ and this entire post can be disregarded.

He gets played because Rengar got nerfed.

Kha'zix has such high base damages and scaling that it doesn't even matter if the target is isolated he can still 2 shot anything squishy, the isolated bonus is just icing on the cake.

Can be built as a tank pretty much item 3047 item 3742 item 3065 and still 1 shot people.
Strong early jungle invading, ability to jump over walls, slow ability that also heals. Late game falls off mainly because of teamfight where enemy team are together making him less assassin than before, but can just splitpush making the enemy team send someone to defend(1v1 = Kha wins) or two people say botlane(1v2 = Kha's team wins objective on other side of map). A much safer pick than Rengar early if behind which also helps.

If Kha gets ahead, he is a pain in the a*s to face even when grouped as a team because of resets on the evolved leap (he goes in, burst an enemy down, goes out, then wait to jump back in when your team has the number advantage). And he can get ahead if you don't protect people; in addition to that he forces you to play a good early game jungler and he doesn't scale too bad compared to them (not the best scaling, but scale better than let's say Elise )
