What is wrong with SKT!?!

SKT, reigning Champions has seemed to have a rocky season, their 2015 domination seems forgotten. After failing to win the Spring Season, they had to mount a run through the playoffs to win the Spring Split. In the Summer, SKT lost a few games which lead them to fall to second in the Summer. After last nights reverse sweep to KT, SKT now finds itself holding its breath for a ROX win to qualify for Worlds, or they must face a Regional Qualifier where any mistake may keep them out of Worlds. So I ask many of you what has lead to SKTs fall from the most dominate team in the World to on fringe?

Roster changes: SKTs decision to allow 2015 Worlds MVP MaRin to leave and be replaced with Duke has been a center of worry. Stories came out that Duke and Faker did not originally get along. On the Rift, Duke has not been the same carry that MaRin seemed to provide last season.

Faker playing with a target: It has been no surprise to anyone that Faker is now playing with an even bigger target on his back. Even when Faker seems to carry the team, the team is no where behind him. Fakers play has been MVP worthy of conversation, but not the dominance some may expect from him. It also seems that some teams have game planned to make sure he doesn't get rolling.

Jungle trouble: The most glaring problem this season has really been in the jungle. After Benji's failure to prefer out the gate, he found himself sidelined for Blank. However, towards the end of the split we saw Benji reemerge. The junglers have been more bored for being caught out as opposed to making plays.

Worlds Curse: In the history of ESports and LoL lies what some believe is the curse of champions. Since it began, no worlds champion has qualified for worlds the year after lifting the trophy. Maybe it's the intense schedule and international tournaments, too long of a victory lap, or the pressure to repeat.
