Charity

Additionally, Riot will match 25% of all Championship Ashe sales during Worlds 2017 to be donated to three global charities. You can vote on which cause you support the most—the higher your Honor level, the more weight your vote carries. The highest-voted charity will get 50% of the total pool, and the remaining amount will be split equally between the other two.

Right now, the total prize pool is $4,072,101 and fans have contributed $1,850,000! All purchases of Championship Ashe and the Championship Ward will continue to funnel into the prize pool until November 5 at 11:59 PM PT. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates and continue sending your energy to the team you deem worthy!

Support your Team

You can also support your favorite team directly through a purchase of team icons or emotes. Keep in mind, these in-game items are not factored into the prize pool.

  • Emote/icon bundle: 30%
  • Emote: 30%
  • Icon: 50%

Stay tuned to Lolesports not to miss any of the 2017 World Championship as teams fight for the Summoner’s Cup.

Did you really kick IMT from the LCS?

Oops. I didn't buy my item. Oh well. Now that Riot has screwed over IMT, I guess I'll go buy one of those slick IMT golden jerseys instead.

If Riot kicks great orgs like IMT out of their game I don't see any point in ever purchasing any of this.

Child Community 10/20/2017, 5:43:14 PM4 votes

LOL what kind of game doesn't allow upvotes to comments, kicking IMT was total Bullshit riot, you guys are greedy as fuck. And the fact that I can't up vote any comment that states your greed is blatant proof, you fucking schmucks.

riot destroyed great teams

man I wish Riot would actually put some money in this especially since there is only one worlds a year that greatly decreases winners income annually

League's prize pool was trash...

thisismyname110/29/2017, 11:38:09 PM1 votes

This seems like a pretty small prize pool like compared to Dota and other games are they gonna increase the prize pool

Kicking an organization whose players work hard, because of the organization failures, is a failure by riot. if you have an industry standard, is it really professional to exclude people or should you be using your resources to help bring them to your standards.

A real leader doesn't cast the lower performing teams (business wise, or playing on stage wise) they would help add points to that lower organizations score board to help advance themselves and breed competition. the players are good. the organization isn't. so lets punish them all. that's a terrible decision

especially for a community that preaches about how they want to help make the game a safe none toxic place, but then punishes people for giving feedback. and doesn't help them grow at all.
