Greetings Summoners!

I am currently working on a competitive Esports website that has successfully hosted many CoD tournament and we are now branching out to LoL. We are going to be launching with a series of tournaments and ladders for the community. We have an idea for a league that will last 2 to 3 months, at the end of the season/league the top 32 teams will compete in a single-elim tournament for cash and or prizes. We also have a wager system in place to allow teams play against eachother for cash.

We are also looking to the community for ideas. Do you guys have anything you would like to see in particular? Any and all input will be taken into account. We want to provide a great competitive venue for all of you guys!

Cheers!

Not sure if adding a Wager System would be a good thing. The idea may sound fine but there's alot of legality liabilities issues with that.

I used to enter myself in Bowling Leagues (for Cash) that had a wager program and with that, i had to sign a contract that you legally (if you wanna save your @** in the long run as a company/League). With that contract i was no longer illegible to receive any sort of Bowling Scholarship going into college if i were to choose to persue that career, for life. I knew i wasn't going to pursue a bowling career even tho i have relatives that have made it to the professional level, so i signed away. Luckily my gambles payed off, i won nearly $1K (spending only $150, $850 profit). But that's the thing, a Wager is a Gamble. Gambling without a legal means to doing so can lead you to a long time at the court office.

If you do in fact get the paperwork in order, You may risk everyone's ability to pursue a possible e-sports scholarship in their future, so keep that in mind.

Now im no Lawyer, it could be different with E-Sports and my experience in Bowling. So this comment is just an opinion, just sharing my view and concerns

Would you be interested in giving out any link? I'd like to know more about your project! Also will be allowed to foreign teams to sign up?
