With the
2014 World Championship group stages starting in just a couple of days, it's time for teams to pull out all the stops. It's time for unorthodox strategies and oddball picks to throw off opponents and take those crucial group stage victories.
We've got some ideas as to how to do just that. Casters and Lolesports writers have weighed in on exactly who they'd like to see on the Rift this Worlds.
Jatt - Viktor

Even though it probably won't happen, I hope to see Viktor played at worlds. He's been my favorite champion to play for about two years now because he has such a unique feel. Additionally, I like the fact that his skill order and augment choice can change based on matchup/what you want out of him. Unfortunately I feel like the competitive landscape isn't a safe place for Viktor due to the mobility and long range of most current top picks, but a man can dream, right?
Rivington - Kennen

Kennen, the champion that I used to get to thirty. Great for team fights but requires map pressure to keep the game under control during laning phase. Kennen isn't one to immediately build health or dominate his lane right away but be more of an annoyance. Not having a tank in top lane is risky so you have to act fast on your team strategy to get the win early. A lot of the teams going into worlds have a very high kill percentage so a ridiculous amount of fights are on the horizon, ready to be cut up by a Slicing Maelstrom.
Spinn180 - Annie

I want to see that big 'ole bear Tibbers stun an entire team and help make way for an incredible teamfight. Annie support has fallen off lately for a multitude of reasons, but that doesn't make me want to see her any less at Worlds. She was in the support spotlight last year for quite a while and even made an appearance last year at Worlds. I feel like this demonic cutie pie and her ferocious friend can still lay down big damage while helping out the rest of the team, and I'm hoping to see someone prove just that. Bear hugs for all!
RoboTayCo - Brand

Don't listen to Spinn. There's a far better fire-oriented champion to be picked up.
Here's a tip for you guys: Brand support is really, really strong. He's got a two second (!) stun at level 2, insane zoning potential with his multiple AOE spells, and one of the best skins in the game (braaaaains). Plus, his ultimate does a stupid amount of damage. And who doesn't like sniping away kills from your ADC? He's an absolute terror in the right hands, and I'd love to see him lay waste on the Worlds stage.
Deficio - Swain

Swain!
Been my favorite champion since S1 and while we have seen the bird man a few times to counter certain champions, we need more Swain!
Quickshot - Amumu

Despite the high risk involved, I would love to see Amumu jungle make an appearance at Worlds. Seeing a well executed wombo combo with Curse of the Sad Mummy is always a fantastic highlight and takes me years back to when he was still super popular in the meta.
Deman - Wukong/Xin Zhao

I'd love to see Wukong or Xin Zhao back in action. [They're] big bully bruisers who aren't afraid to engage, do some damage, and break the stand off situations.
Mirhi - Rumble

With the advent of the top Tree (Maokai), the champion I most want to see is Rumble. Not only do we have the flavor success of a fiery battle mech burning him down, Rumble is a pretty hard counter to Maokai that hasn't been widely played yet. In addition, we have the best Rumble player in the world in the tournament - Cloud9's Balls - as well as some other adept Rumble players such as Dyrus and Gogoing.
Now that we've heard from everyone, who do you guys want to see at Worlds? Let us know!
