How do the teams from the diff regions get selected for diff NONE LCS Tournies?

Team WE?? REALLY? WHY? 1-7-4 ... 7pts.

EDWARD Gaming 9-1-2 ... 29pts OMG 6-0-5 ... 23pts Snake 6-1-4 ... 22pts Why aren't these any of these teams representing China @ IEM? Someone please help me understand.

And then for EU LCS Gambit? ... 8-6 ... Where are Fnatic & H2k? Not that I am bashing these 2 teams for getting to represent their countries, I am just not understanding how teams that are clearing doing "better" aren't doing so instead. I am ed Some one please {{summoner:2}} me.

Gmb - won IEM cologne

SK - were first in the LCS at the time the qualifications were decided

TSM - see sk

C9 - won IEM San Jose

WE - won IEM Shenzhen

YOE Wolves - Intel Extreme Masters Taipei

GE Tigers - First in LCK

CJ Entus - 2nd in LCK

It's not going by the best in the regions, it was the teams who won the respective IEMs, and after that it was the best teams in their respective region. They supposedly picked two spots from LCK so they could have regional balance.
