To everyone calling out all the new c9 fans, just because we didn't cheer for them over TSM or Immortals, does not mean we can't still cheer for them now. North American Pride

Yeah C9 did a great job and there is no reason not to cheer for them since they are the last NA team standing. I am a TSM fan myself but I would be more than happy to give my support to any NA team that makes it out of the group.

I'm surprised how TSM fans wont cheer for C9.

No matter where your loyalties stand regarding C9 vs TSM, you should cheer for the last team representing your region.

It's a shame the same posters who were calling out that TSM will be top 4 or get out of groups are now saying C9 doesn't deserve getting out of groups.

Reality check. C9 went through the gauntlet, the play-in stages, and the play-in knock out stages. They got into a group with the 3 times world champion, and #1 chinese seed. They manage to go 1-1 with EDG, and 2-0 with AHQ. Give them respect and cheer for them

I've always liked TSM and C9 and let me say while C9 had a poor showing in week 2 (aside from their ahq game) they were in a much more difficult group than TSM yet TSM was unable to get out after the NA curse of week 2 hit them.

It also helped that TSM disrespected all of their opponents by drafting comps which basically said "do ANYTHING proactive early game and you'll probably win outright". The fact this isn't the first time they've done stuff like this is making it hard for me to take them seriously, as arrogance is only really useful if you can actually back it up.

yeah, and the worst part, the bot lane (specifically DL) was making some of the weirdest trades. DL losing 80% HP before he gets lvl 1 trying to trade vs a cait or a xayah...

Naw, the worst part is that despite the fact their botlane was criticized heavily they actually played more aggressive than the rest of the team. You kinda have to think that if they were given a more early-game focused comp (DL being allowed to play xayah) that it would've gone from the entire team being blamed for playing passive comps to "hauntzer/sven are shite and need to be replaced by koreans".

I don't know, I think DL just kinda lost it

In their game vs Flash Wolves, he tried 3 times to fight a a kog 1v1 with a Trist and end up dying 1v1 on 2 occasions. Even the casters noted that is just too much expectation from DL.

I think DL really made himself think he was the best ADC so he willingly picked a match up that is hard expecting to go even or slightly behind. What happened was he was losing lane pretty bad that he attracted all roamers to come help kill him and Bio

I'm not sure if it was cockiness that led to them picking losing lanes almost every game (not saying cockiness didn't play a role in it.) It's just how TSM always plays internationally. They don't adapt to the other teams at all. They play late game comps in the hopes of making it to 40 minutes where they can teamfight which is what TSM is best at. Problem is that they just didn't respect their opponents being able to snowball the game with 3 winning lanes. All in all TSM lost the game in champ select over and over.

the reason real c9 fans don't like TSM and IMT (current) fans is not because they cheer on TSM and IMT, it's that they say C9 sucks and TSM and IMT will leave groups but C9 won't.

They can sit and watch and cheer them on at their house, don't be flip flopping on the forums. Fairweather fans not welcome

I do't mind "flip-floppers" I wouldn't even call them that.

The reason I dislike TSM fans, is because there is that vocal portion that says they are so great and belittle C9. Just look at how many salt posts some TSM fans are making.

Flip Flop? I would cheer for TSM over C9 in a heart beat. However I cant really do that anymore so I cheer for the next NA team. I dont give a damn who makes it if they're NA. Ill fucking cheer for Team Siren if they make it.

Honestly, C9 didn't play that bad in Week 2. If you look at the obj and gold for each team for every game, they were pretty spot on. It took both EDg and SKT a long time to actually end the game. I actually thought they played really good.

And yes, C9 will fight WE. I hope C9 does win because it only cements that C9 is much more successful than any other team in NA
