IMT shouldn't be out of NALCS

Legénd··16 votes·1,718 views

Hey Riot, I simply don't see a reasoning of IMT not being in the NA LCS despite that they came from a 7th place team in Spring Split to 2nd in the Summer Split including to Riot earning tons of money by buying IMT icons etc.. Remember that is just my opinion and I know that I don't know things behind the scenes, but if you could somehow manage to get IMT in NA LCS I will and many other fans will be so happy!

Generally when people "augment" their stories, particularly after the original story bombs, it's rather suspect. Just sayin.

Riot's stance was never taken in the original article, stuff about overwatch or anything else was just hearsay from a guy that's not even in Riot.

Because Riot didn't respond to a request for comment. And now that there's some backlash all of a sudden. poof. OK, we'll comment now.

And again, according to the ESPN article where this dropped, Riot has not commented on it, I think that is stupid of them, but they haven't. This update of information apparently came from the same person who dropped the other information. 'Sources close to Riot' could mean anyone, anyone but Riot.

It could be anyone in Riot or a member of their "3rd party experts" who are assisting in the franchising process. The fact the IMT CEO has fired back and commented that his team has more than sufficient financials (and the expansion into Overwatch suggests this is true) lends credence to this move by Riot coming from less than fair decisions.

Fuck the LCS, I hope their stages and studios suffer major accidents.

Call me sick, whatever. This is what happens when you fuck with passionate fans, you get their hate, you lose their money, they hope it all blows up in your face.

Riot stance was always to reveal complete information at the end of the process Riot and orgs are under NDAs , which is understendable since it is a massive business pricessm they are not supposed to respnd right now anyway

Because they gave them the cash bro, don't you know MONEY TALKS? It's not about talent anymore! [poppy-wink]

The talent isn't going anywhere. Someone will pick them up.

In fact the new teams coming in will probably just buy a full roster if they can.

the thing is though they have the money. It seriously looks like riot doesnt want the competion with imt being the la ow team

Or people should shut their piehole at IMT for leaking stuff to ESPN. I'm pretty sure Riot will come with an explenation after worlds. But hey people like to leak, might aswell leak your financials to back your story up instead of shit sturring.

There is more to being a business partner than success in the league.
