Should LCS allow In-Game Coaching?

I was curious if Riot has considered letting coaches in the in-game chat. LCS already gave more responsibility to coaches this season, I wonder if it's going to stop. Coaches would see what their team is doing and making calls. Think similarly to football, where the coach makes the call. And the players execute it.

There's still a lot of room for player shot calling, quarterbacks audible at the line. And how much say the coach has could be up to the team itself.

I think it would an extra layer of awesome strategies and let players focus on their mechanics so they can make more LCS Big Plays. I'm curious what others think of this.

It would make competitive league just_ Garbage_. Let me explain. *The beauty of league is that is has a lot of thinking behind it. And so if you let the coaches to speak in game, The fun part the mind games. Would be gone cause the coach would do everything. and then eventhouigh it isnt you will just be watching as cif it was a Solo queue game where everyone is only focuised on mechanics. And the 70% supports job would thrown away, Because the coach would just say roam here, place ward here . So the conclusion is That without coach the players have to think like pros, and not just Outplay everyone like in soloQ. And your example of Football coach is not really good. Because a footbaaal coach can yell but it cant yell the whole game long, and an in game coach can talk the whole game long (sorry for the bad grammar and english) summoner 31

In no sports is there an "in-game coach." The coaches speak to the players and the players well play... In Best of 3s and 5s the coaches speak to the players in between every game, and we're already seeing coaches speak during pauses. I think that goes more in line with what you're saying.

NO NO NO

TLDR; No

Bad idea for a plethora of reasons no one has time to write.

This would be the same as making summoners rift 6v6 and having a spotter/strategy position where the person does nothing buy rely info and give orders. It will never happen and for good reason.

I think it would be a great addition and help players who are mechanically awesome and smart players, but who are on teams that have lackluster shot calling. I hardly think it would "dum down" the LCS, it would make it more complicated, smarter, awesome LCS big plays. Ultimatly making the games more exciting to watch, which I think is the eventual goal of the LCS, making it more than an obscure computer nerd thing.

I think of Cloud 9 a lot when I say this. Cloud 9 without their shotcaller looks horrible, if Hai was an actualy jungler there is no doubt in my mind that they would have beat Team Liquid through smarter plays and better shot calling. Teams shoudnt be forced to find the "one person who knits them all together". Also it would be a great place for incredibly smart, but less mechanically gifted players a role in the LCS.
