Hello Riot,

I submitted a ticket for this, but was directed here from there. Just wanted to see if we can get some info from you regarding the dates of Worlds.

I have been playing this game since season 2 and went to season 6 Worlds here in Los Angeles, California. My friends and I have been planning to go to worlds again this year in France but, wanted to start planning as soon as possible. Is there a time frame on when this information will be released? I understand it is only Q1 but, there is a lot of planning that goes into a trip like this and we would like to be there for the final. Any information can be helpful/valuable.

I too went to Los Angeles worlds. But that's beside the point. Not much has been revealed about the exact location, but it will be somewhere in the EU, if you were hoping NA would be the host region, I think that it'll be around 2020 worlds or 2021 worlds. However, if you want more specifics in EU, I can help with that. Paris was the region for worlds 2015, which is in western EU, so I'd assume its gonna be somewhere in Northern EU, considering northern EU has the biggest population other than Eastern EU. So maybe Norway, Finland. Could be wrong. If you also wanna know about MSI, it'll be in Vietnam.
