In the 2017 NA LCS Spring Split Finals between TSM and Cloud9, the five-game series was decided by one climactic fight. The engagement forced extremely quick decision making from both teams - and the delicate execution of that fight is what we're covering in our last Breakdown of the Spring Split.

TSM made a bold call in an incredibly difficult situation. At the time of the deciding fight, they were down 5,000 gold and a Baron buff - so the call to rush Elder Dragon was risky. However, it forced Cloud9 into making difficult decisions, and left them little time to set up the proper engage. Since Cloud9 rushed in from a single direction - it allowed TSM to peel back from the fight with their multiple disengage spells.

Let's get into it.

I'd also like to add that after C9 Sneaky got chunked low before the fight, he wasn't trying to "push up the minion wave" per se. Rather, he was trying to lifesteal back up ASAP without backing because that would take too long and the quickest and fastest way to do that at the time, as well as accomplish pushing up the lane, was pushing up mid.

after C9 took the inhib, Sneaky took the greedy route to B instead of backing slightly more into a safer area or just backing to base and let Contractz finish the job since Khazix has a better time escaping. if that was the case C9 could of had a slight chance at bouncy back. regardless, Bjergs Syndra is as scary as ever
