Why isn't World's finals not a best of 7 game series? Wouldn't it make more sense?

Mostly because the series would be absurdly long. The mental strain on these players after 5 games is clear, and taking it to two more would be kinda insane. Most other leagues (MLB, NBA, NHL) have Bo7 finals just because the games are held over the course of over a week, and because that's what's played in the previous series. You just can't do that in esports.
