Everything you need to know about the NA LCS Spring Playoffs

In the final weeks of the Spring Split, we’ve seen a tight race for the top spots to qualify for the NA Spring Playoffs. With Championship Points and a chance to represent North America at the Mid-Season Invitational on the line, the three competitive weeks of NA LCS Spring Playoffs live from Los Angeles will be something you won’t want to miss. We’ll be hosting all NA Playoff matches at our home base at the NA LCS Studios in Los Angeles. The top talent from the NA LCS will face off on the LCS stage in Best of 5 (Bo5) bracket with each round of the Playoffs taking place over the following weekends:

LCS Spring Playoffs, Quarters: April 4-5
LCS Spring Playoffs, Semis: April 11-12
LCS Spring Playoffs, 3rd and Final: April 18-19

Though the NA Spring Finals won't be traveling this year, we're looking forward to bringing the live action of League of Legends esports to our fans across North America with the Mid-Season Invitational in Florida and the NA LCS Summer Finals going on the road in August. We’ll share more details about the Summer Playoffs in the coming months. Sadly, I don't think C9 will win this one. While I am a Cloud 9 fan, and I know they have the talent to win, I just can't picture them beating TSM in a Bo5.

As much as I love C9, that's actually not true. TSM has proven over and -over- that they are the best at it. I couldn't tell you why or how, but they always manage to get there in game 5.

TSM IMHO seems to always do well if they are behind. That is both for a single game and a bo5. They keep calm and look for mistakes their competition makes. I would compare them to the GE tigers in that sense as from what I've seen from GET is they play calm and strike suddenly switching both a game and a bo series.

i want WFX to stay in LCS. I like Pobelter and Altec. I hope they go back to the original roster. Paragon was pretty lackluster.

They are I think. Personally a big fan of Gleeb (who I believe is coming back as well) Paragon was just not as impressive as the Altec/Gleeb combo bot

It makes sense though... would've been too expensive to travel the crew TWICE in a very short time(roadshows for this type of thing are absurdly expensive) - once for the spring finals and then AGAIN for the mid-season invitational not too long after. Mid-season Invitational is obviously the larger of the two events so it makes sense to travel for that and hold the finals at home.

So yes, each region is hosting ONE abroad event. Mid-season is in NA, so the NA team is hosting it. EU team is hosting their finals abroad. I would wager that the next time an international event happens in EU, their local regional event will happen at the studio.

its not really that absurd.... you can easily have 2 teams work on 2 different assignments. Second MSI is a international event not a NA event. So EU should have to be in their studios for summer at all points because they have worlds with this logic.

Lots of C9 fans here. Personally i think TSM are the team to beat with TIP as the darkhorse. Wouldn't be surprise to see them in the finals if TIP can get those solo queueish moments out of their game. WIll be interesting to see how CLG and C9 do as well considering they're having a bit of an up and down moment.
