Can team coaches talk to players during a tournament game?

I always wondered if coaches can be micced up with the players during a game. If this is something that's not allowed, why is that? Other sports don't ban coaches from coaching players during a game. Its so important in League to be able to strategize for comps and plan moves ahead to get objectives/picks. Why can't teams have a 6th man standing behind the rows of computers, looking at each player's screen and being the coach/shot-caller/strategist in game? Let the players play, and a coach be a coach.

perhaps because the coach wouldn't need to do actual game mechanics, so he can afford to pay attention to something like the crowd. They randomly seem to start getting excited when your team isn't doing anything, better go check an objective or retreat in a pushed Lane. Could be an unfair source of information. In contrast if a player views the crowd they'll probably miss something in game.
