Worlds Group Stage scenario.

So I thought about this last year too and have finally decided to see if anyone has an answer. If in one group all 4 teams split against each other. It would lead to a perfect tie and no one would advance. What would happen. Would they have to do it again, would they go by seeds, or would it come down to some sort of stat from the games played. I was just wondering if anyone had an answer on this or if anyone had thought of this at all too.

They have had tie breakers in the past, Im sure it would come down to that.

I do believe that they do have other criteria that they use in case of ties. If all the records are tied, with a perfectly split win/lose record vs everyone else, one of the additional tie breakers they use is the average game time length.

They than play 2 tie-breaker games and who ever wins between the tie-breaker games will face of to see who is the 1st seed and 2nd seed.
I believe it will go in order of ranking so if all 4 teams are 3-3

So lets say these are the teams without naming any specific teams. LCK 1 seed NA 3 seed Eu 2 seed IWC.

The LCK 1st seed will face the IWC being their the highest team and get the "easier" match while the two other teams are more on par to face each other and only fitting being that the LCK team is the higher seed so NA 3rd team will face the EU 2nd team.
