NA LCS Spring Split Spoiled Final By E-Sports Notifications

I kept up with all the games in the NA LCS spring split, however due to 3rd year university finals I didn't realise that the playoffs had started. After I realised, I started watching games at a slow pace, one for each lecture I finished revising. I haven't been playing league much recently but when I logged on I had the semi-final match-up spoiled for me with an e-sport notification (which I have now switched off). I'd only watched C9 vs TSM and was really looking forward to watching the rest of the playoffs.

At first I thought that I had the final spoiled for me, so I started writing this thread. I just realised it was the semi-finals so its not so big a deal.

I would imagine (although don't really know) that many of the people who keep up with LCS do so after the live coverage. It would be great if Riot could prevent spoilers like the reddit LCS VODs threads do.

It would also be great to be able to log onto league and still get notifications from e-sports but without spoilers.

Live when I can, if I miss the games and don't want spoilers I go to surrender at 20 to watch.

I always go here: http://lol.unspoilr.com/#na-lcs_NALCS2016-SpringPlayoffs you can watch the matches or check on what round a tournament is at without spoilers. I work a lot of the weekends so I almost never get to watch live.

That said the in-client spoilers are pretty rough.
