League of Legends For Consoles

Why isn't this done yet? Riot, you have one of the - if not the- most popular games in the world, yet it's only for PC players. As a business standpoint, switching to console would generate even MORE revenue for the company.

It wouldn't be very hard to change the gameplay in the actual game; the real challenge would be changing the HUD, interface, and menus. Gameplay would change a bit, sure, but take Smite as an example. On console it feels like I'm playing on PC, just with a controller in my hands. On the other hand, Smite had to completely revamp its menus/interface in order to comply to controller usage. So, Riot would have to dedicate a whole team to port League of Legends to console.

"But why?" You're asking yourself. Because of two reasons. The first being that Riot has a very good chance of making a lot of income, as they have before on the PC. After all, Riot is a business and businesses need money to survive. The second point I would like to make is that everyone who doesn't own a high end computer that can run games smoothly are left in the dark. These people are much more likely to download a game on a console that they know will work rather than getting a game that'll run at 10fps on their PC. Also, a price point of FREE will even further their incentive to try the game out.

So again I ask: Why isn't this done yet? It seems like an incredible idea, and Riot is missing out on console gaming.
