Nerfs for Competitive

Honestly, why the duck Riot nerfs champs for the competitive play? Proplayers are like 0.00001% of the community.... For exemple a bunch of midlaners got nerfed last patch.. i mean why you do this? For every proplayer that uses orianna there are 10000 orianna players in the community. And this doesn't affect pros at all bcs they basically know every champ so they just switch to another champ, but for those orianna mains (or every champ that get nerfed cos of pro scene)... what are they supposed to do?

Learn a different Champ? Or if they like orianna Just stay with it? You Talk about competitive so the 10000 orianna Players aren't competitive so they shouldnt Care if shes strong or Not right?

It was like when they nerfed ad kennen bcs rekkles was spamming it... why do you nerf a champ that is abused by one or 2 players in the world? XD

Well considering rest of playerbase adopted competitive meta, it makes sense

Firstly, Worlds is coming up and they want that to be interesting to watch by attempting to increase the number of champions played. They rebalance around normal players the patch following worlds. Secondly, Ori/Syndra/Taliyah are all very strong in all elos, not just pro play. Thirdly, pro players do play a lot of champions. The goal of these nerfs is not to make them completely stop playing those champions, but to put them on even grounds with many others. Adding a little bit of mana to Taliyah's Q is not going to make pros give up playing her, and is not NEARLY a big enough nerf to make low elo Taliyah mains stop playing her. Don't pretend like a small nerf will screw over the whole Orianna fan base when there are many people who main Yi, Garen, Wukong, etc. who are never played in the professional scene
