Most people thinks solo Q is not important for pro player in NA. I feel so bad that most player argue with Jatt. I think Jatt did everything right. is there other way to practice? solo Q is important because player can practice their skill by solo Q. In LPL, teams win because they have better strategies. On the other hand, CLG or TSM win a lot just because they made less mistake compare to other team. The distance between NA EU and China Korea is not about in-game strategy. NA or EU player sometime just lose lane so hard due to lack of skills. it's simple, a bronze player can be easily destroyed by golden player, even this bronze player knows better strategy. Ball is a good player in NA. I do not think he is good enough to deal with China , Korea top player right now. There were absolutely no mistake about jatt's comments about ball. Also, it is so stupid that some NA pro spends time to argue with Jatt. If you think Jatt is wrong, just let Ball prove himself in worlds.

I would like to agree, but this simply isn't true. The reason teams from other regions tend to win are because of better teamplay, SSW mostly crushed because they had extremely advanced rotations and beautiful teleport plays. Of course, there were some mechanics involved, but it was mostly their teamplay that won worlds for them. If I had to pick a team who do crush because of mechanics (to some extent), I'd go for SKT T1. This is a team who, even if they're two turrets and five kills behind, will be even in gold with you because of things like high cs. However, even they (a team who crush partially because of their mechanics) show excellent teamplay. Coming back from a 10k gold deficit isn't something you see on a daily basis, and SKT T1 is one of the teams who can do that.

Overall, I'd say both aspects are just as important, but when it comes to the responses of the pros, they were incorrect and uncalled for. Being mechanically gifted is a powerful tool in League of Legends, and saying that solo queue "does not matter" when it oh so obviously does matter seems wrong. Jatt's comment wasn't even worded badly, he just threw a point of discussion out there saying that this is "a worrying trend for C9". How's that even remotely impolite? He was bringing up a good point and wasn't talking down on anyone, he was doing his job as an analyst. The pros turned this into the shitstorm it shouldn't have been.

Why is c9, or NA, recieving so much flak for their solo Q? Have you looked at some of the EU teams? Xpeke is already the worst mid at worlds as we speak, and the guy has played like 50 games. Hell, none of the Origen people are doing well or playing very many games. Yet, people are focused on how poorly NA pros are doing? They dont even have very good win-rates at their low elo. And, they arent playing very many games either.

Most NA players have played quite a bit of games. Only Fnatic has EU players actively solo Qing. While the other 2 EU teams must just be on vacation.

Honestly, you guys are going to be in for a rude awakening when Xpeke gets mauled in midlane, and Origen doesnt even beat TSM or win a game.
