The best boy band at All-Star and other imaginary team rosters

Team Fire and Team Ice. Sure those official All-Star 2015 teams are cool if you're into competitive games or elemental powers or whatever.

But I'm more of an "arbitrary yet delightfully fun thematic teams" sort of guy. That's why I'm super excited for the All-Star All-Stars mode, where we get to choose 10 pros from the player pool to battle it out in one epic match. I went through the full list of every All-Star player coming to the big ASE event this week and dreamed up a few alternative ways to divide these superstars into teams on the Rift.

Best Smiles Team

Winning isn't everything. There's also posing for pictures after you win, and waving at cheering crowds after you get a Pentakill. This team's pearly whites will bring all the photographers to their camp.

Rookie: LPL had the most smiles (and best glasses) of any region's headshots, but no one comes close to matching the adorable Rookie.
Rekkles: So bright-eyed, so bushy-tailed. This is a man that loves life.
Huni: He's smiling because he's trolling you.
KaSing: Subbing in for Ryu, who was obviously chosen for this energetic and emotive team, but couldn't make the photoshoot.
WildTurtle: He'll be photo-bombing from outside the venue.

Best Boy-Band Team

Don't pretend you haven't already made this list in your head.

Faker: You saw his awesome dance moves at Worlds, right?
Amazing: That pout face.
Clearlove: He already has groupies with an adorable nickname: piggies. Aww/Eww.
Dyrus: He's shown propensity for destruction of property (the microwave incident), which all good rock-n-roll bands need to be legit.
Kira: He's the only pro I know that plays guitar. Instant admission!
Meteos: The band's understudy waiting to swap in with his bassoon and unicycle if Kira gets sick.

Best All-Engage-All-The-Time Team

This team will charge at their opponents every second of every match, which'll be super fun to watch!

Huni: Sometimes, it's a matter of principle. You must show the enemy you're not afraid to fight them under their tower.
Karsa: First Blood for his team in 68% of his regular season games and 75% Kill Participation at Worlds. Sic 'em, Karsa!
Faker: There's nothing reckless about Faker's aggression, but every time his opponent makes a single mistake, he is absolutely ruthless in punishing them for it.
PraY: Nothing asserts dominance like constant aggression in the bot lane.
MadLife: Every hook is an engage!

Best Role-Swap Team

All-Star already has a crazy game going with Tandem Mode (two players per character), but who'd do best if we forced them to swap roles? The players who have already swapped roles, of course! Here's how we can fit them all onto one team.

Clearlove: You want to make sure your mid-laner gets ganks? Put a former mid laner in the jungle.
Score: It's easier to say which roles he hasn't played professionally: top and mid.
Huni: "Fill." This stud top laner was asked to play mid on Fnatic when he first joined, but declined. And recently, there were rumors of him trying out the ADC position!
Aphromoo: Bot-lane buddy who can do either role!
Amazing: He never played it professionally, but he did prefer the ADC role when he started back in Season 1. I'm sure that's good enough to compete on an international level, right?

Best "I'm Getting Too Old for this S&^t" Team

Getting the gang back together for one. last. ~~minion~~ mission. I've taken the liberty of making some cool catch phrases for these super heroes to use during the match.

Dyrus: "Gunnars on. Ready to go."
Clearlove: "I was #1 in China before you even knew what League was."
Bebe: "I'm back, bebe!"
MadLife: "Oh, this is your first All-Star Event? That's cute."
Westdoor: "Twisted Fate was good enough in Season 2, and it's good enough now!"
