TL;DR: Finals tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, August 10 at 10:00 AM PT starting at $46.50 USD via AXS.

It’s the final showdown. It all comes down to this. On stage at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, the top two teams will compete to lift the Summoner’s Cup and be crowned World Champions. Here’s how you can be in the crowd to see the Finals live:

When do Finals tickets go on sale?

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, August 10 at 10:00 AM PT. To allow all players the opportunity to purchase tickets, they will be made available first via:

UPDATE: Finals tickets are sold out and will no longer available online, via phone, or in-person at the STAPLES Center Box Office. 

How much are tickets?

Base price for tickets are $55.00 for the Lower Bowl (P1), $52.00 for the Middle Bowl (P2), and $35.00 for the Upper Bowl (P3).

Finals ticket prices vary based on the fees of the channel used to purchase. Here’s a breakdown of the final prices per channel:

  • Online: $70.00 (P1), $65.00 (P2), $46.50 (P3), plus applicable fees
  • Phone: $71.00 (P1), $66.00 (P2), $47.50 (P3), plus applicable fees
  • Box Office: $55.00 (P1), $52.00 (P2), $35.00 (P3), plus applicable fees

What is the Finals setup? What are the best seats?

The Finals will be presented “in-the-round” with the audience surrounding the action. We strive for every seat to provide a great viewing experience. If you’re considering front row seats (up to 5-10 rows from the stage) in the Lower Bowl (P1), your seats will be closer to the live action, but may have partially obstructed views during certain segments. Additional screens will be provided to mitigate the inconvenience.

Do I have to make an account to buy tickets online?

Yes, AXS requires an account to purchase tickets. To save time, we recommend that you sign up and create an account before ticket sales go live.

Can you confirm the final prices after fees and taxes?

Fees vary based on the individual buyer and you might need to pay taxes based on your location. Fees also vary based on how you decide to receive your ticket such as e-ticket, will call, mailing, etc. For more information, check out AXS.

Will there be a queue/waiting page for tickets?

If the event is in high enough demand, AXS uses a queue system that will go live 1 hour before tickets go on sale to mitigate traffic. Remember that being in the lobby doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be able to purchase tickets.

Are seats assigned?

Seats are assigned for every ticket so if you want to sit with friends, buy together.

What language will the ticket site be available in?

English.

Will more tickets go on sale?

There will be extremely limited quantities released in early September based on our final production setup. If you want to guarantee a seat at Finals, we suggest not waiting since we cannot guarantee availability after the initial wave of tickets.

When and where is Finals?

As we previously announced, Finals takes place on October 29 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA.

When does Finals start?

Games begin at 4:00 PM local time (Pacific Time) on Saturday, October 29.

When do doors open at Finals?

Doors open at 2:00 PM local time (Pacific Time) on Saturday, October 29.

What language will the live commentary at Finals?

Live commentary will be in English.

Will there be radios with other languages available?

Due to the local popularity of this event, we expect that the overwhelming majority of fans will be from North America. As a result, translation radios to hear alternate-language commentary will not be provided.

Is there an age restriction for players to attend the Finals?

All ticketholders under 13 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. The accompanying adult is required to have a valid ticket for the event.

Can I bring my camera into the venue?

We encourage photos and videos from your seat but leave monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, and large rigs at home. Generally, anything that can block the view or disrupt the experience of the others around you is a no-go.

Can I bring my own food and drink into the arena? Where can I smoke? Can I bring a backpack to the venue?

We’ll release a Finals Survival Guide for attendees closer to the event to answer these questions.

The epic Best of 5 series between the top two teams in the world will determine who will become the new World Champion and etch their name into the coveted Summoner’s Cup.

Will there be other events (cosplay, merch, etc) at Finals?

We’re still working on our final plans so we’ll confirm when we get closer to the event.

Joined the waiting room around 9:40. Just finally had my group picked and they're sold out. Already 300+ tickets on stubhub...

SUCH BS! I was waiting in the room for an hour before I "was able to purchase my tickets". I got in when basically all of the sections were open, however when I tried purchasing my tickets, I got the message that "No seats were found for the selected number of tickets and price levels", even after switching to only one ticket and best seats at any price. I then tried to order of of the phone, and I always got hung up on after they were supposed to connect me to someone, on all of their phone lines I could find. I had been waiting three hours to finally get my tickets to Worlds, and I don't have the luxury of driving to the box office all the way down just to get them. The entire system is screwed up and Now I have to pay 100+ dollars just to get tickets from scalpers

Absolutely the **worst experience **I've had in buying tickets!

  1. Why shitty ASX?
  2. I waited patiently one hour before 10:00 AM and 40 min after only to be told the tickets were sold out
  3. The "We are letting people in random batches to make sure it's fair and secure" was 100% NOT FAIR AND NOT SECURE.
  4. Whats the point of "waiting around?". So others can buy as many tickets as they possibly can and list them on Stubhub/Ebay for triple the price!?

The list can go on and on,and I'm sure Riot won't address this issue like every year, most likely aren't even going to read these comments. I'll admit, I'm salty as fuck right now, but at this rate I feel all of us left out who waited patiently hours before the tickets went out have the right to be salty.

Get your shit together Riot, work with an actual "Fair and secure" ticket marketer for once.

I was in the waiting room before 10:00 AM and I was actually waiting since 9 AM to have a chance to purchase and what happens...... Waiting Room is selecting groups in random to be fair!!!!! WTF........ I'm so upset..... They should have raised the prices so more people stood a chance and that queue system is so not cool!

What absolute crap. Random bunching was allegedly to keep the bots and brokers out. Well good job, my fiance and I got online early and never even got the chance to buy tickets and there are already a ton up on stubhub at double or triple face value. GG rito.

Waited for over an hour before the ticket sales started rolling in, and when it was finally my turn to pay, there were no more tickets whatsoever. No matter how many tickets I chose or what seats I chose. There were no more. (Started at 9:30am, joining the waiting line, and I was finally able to pay at 10:20am; later to find out I couldn't purchase any tickets, no matter the quantity or seating [I even chose the split seating option]. Zero results.) I was really hoping I could go to Worlds Finals since it's only like an hour drive from where I live. Looks like I'll just be watching World Finals on Twitch, at home. (8/10/16, posted at 10:26am after failed purchase attempts)

I took the day off work, was online two hours before waiting room went live, sat patiently in the waiting room for my batch to go through..... and when I get to find tickets it tells me no seats remaining. This is the worst bullshit I have seen in my entire life of buying tickets online. I'm fucking furious RIOT.

What's going to be done to stop/discourage ticket scalping? As I understand it, the website doesn't prevent people from opening multiple sessions to get into the waiting room.

I've been waiting for about 2 hours get nothing! About 10:40, it said my turn. At that time I can see there still have a lot available on P3 & P3. However, I only want to buy one ticket, I chose P2 or p3, it said "No results found" Are you F@king kidding me? Riot go to Ebay or stubhub, have a look. 10 times, 10 times, 10 times of the f@king original price. You completely hurt us....F@k You!!!

Thanks for allowing scalpers to buy up most the tickets and charge $300+ for lower bowl seats. You need to assigned names to tickets and make them non-tranferable. Glad I could spend the money to fly out to LA and now have no tickets. Got in the waiting line at 10am, wait in queue for 50 minutes and they are sold out. Phone calls are impossible.

Absolutely garbage. That waiting list was a scam. It forced most of us to wait 40 minutes to an hour just to be told there aren't any more tickets. If they can't tell us that during the wait list whats the point of waiting around? Never use AXS again. Quite disappointed altogether

If there is not going to be a Live Music Performance once again this year, thanks to the "genius" idea of "the round seating", then count me out. Last year's EU Finals without a Live Performance; and a forgone conclusion matchup with SKT, was GGWP from the start.

The musical performance, as featured in Seasons 2-4, was the best and only part worth watching to a mass audience... like the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. Even if you knew absolute 0 about Esports/LoL, the performance alone is worth the viewership. Plus, it adds vital community engagement to the event, and separates LoL from every other Esports event out there.

If RIOT games wants to be boring; "retconning" the LoL/Summoner's from LoL's lore, removing its theme music (Summoner's Call), and now make its Esports events unwatchable, GGWP... I might as well watch "real" sports.
