I thought I understood the scoring for group stage... need clarification now

I guess the biggest question I have is if you have to put 3rd and 4th place teams in the right order to get any points for them at all?

As I understood it, you get 2 points for correctly predicting a team didn't make it through group stage, regardless of actual position (3rd or 4th). Where the order of 3rd and 4th actually would matter, would be if you got 1 and 2 in the right order, in which case putting 3 and 4 in the right order as well would net you the 2 bonus points for getting the group 100% correct.

I had picked Origen in 2nd place, which got me 5 points for them making it through and having them in the right position. But I didn't get any points for picking TSM as 3rd place. At the same time, in group A, I put Pain as 4th, but they're listed as 3rd place, and I still go the 2 points. Granted, I thought that should have required a tiebreak match which I'm not aware of them playing, and if they had, I would think they would have reflected that in the actual placement in the group?

And it doesn't really make sense that you have to get 3rd and 4th in the exact right position in order to get any points off them at all. It kinda makes the 2 bonus points for having all picks in the right order redundant. A 14-point group would be impossible in this case (putting 1 and 2 in the right spots, but flipping 3 and 4, thereby missing the 2 bonus points for the whole group).

Bottom line: Not quite understanding why I didn't get 2 points off predicting TSM wouldn't make it through group stage.

I'd also like clarification here. Also seems to be an inconsistency in scoring between group A and D.

Or are CLG and Pain just never going to play their tie break?
