Can G2 redeem themselves at MSI 2017?

To answer the title "Can G2 redeem themselves at MSI 2017" - YES G2 aren't a EU TSM where they have to get ahead early and win games within 31 mins anymore like in 2016. G2 are a much slower and smarter team than before. Some of Europe's best years were from slower teams that won the map methodically and at a slow pace while still having talent in all lanes.

The only possible way in which they redeem themselves is if they somehow manage to get more than one playstyle. I dunno if a week is long enough to learn an entire new playstyle....

Mind you, given how HORRENDOUS the EU region has looked all split long domestically... the fact that they didn't go 0-10 is enough for me to say they performed above my expectations. Last year EU looked like a relatively solid region domestically, but failed to perform internationally. This year they looked atrocious domestically, but at least they made it out of the groups so that's good for them.

Does it matter if they do? They don't have anything exciting about their team.
