Interested to get your thoughts: do you think that series win was more down to TSM playing well or C9 playing badly? TSM did some cool stuff but it's so easy to just point at Rush and say he's awful, too.

Glad to see TSM win anyway :) Really enjoyed watching the second game in particular (fed Maokai is very fun to watch).

Both. TSM drafted and played like a team for once, and C9 seemed to lose their advantage, which is their ability to have Hai shotcall out of any situation

Easy to point at rush and say he is awful? Jensen lost the Zed vs Azir matchup. And in game three had noting but "3k elo shockwaves." All of C9 did bad, shot calling, warding, rotations, teamfighting. They looked terrible. Looks like that beat down they caught from Liquid wasn't random.

You're right, Jensen had a bad series too. It felt like he forgot how to play his champions for some reason.

TSM won by banning the Twisted Fate really. Also the Gangplank but the double TP is insane, triple if you count TF's ultimate, maybe even 4th TP from Gangplanks ultimate even. Just too crazy and too many plays can be made to swing the game with that and by banning those champs, it took the pressure off TSM.

TSM won because Regi brought in Weldon for the playoffs after TL wasn't able to keep him on. It was very noticeable how TL improved after they had contracted him to help the team. TSM just did the same thing. That's why people saw a 180 degree change in TSM. Regi is just proving that you can buy a team full of stars, hire the best sports psychologist (believe he's also coached? - could be wrong there), and then win playoff series. I truly hope they get crushed and don't win spring split. Don't respect teams that just buy their way to the top.

No, they won cause C9 put together some horrible team comps after their initial one. And Rush is obviously not a Kindred main.

But didn't immortals do just that? Granted they never brought in Weldon but they did land perhaps the five biggest NA and EU free agents during the off season, effectively buying their way to 1st seed. After all keep in mind, Immortals are in Team8's LCS spot they just rebranded and completely changed the entire roster.
