Worlds spot

Hello

I am so confused now. G2 has secured the spot in worlds because they got enough points even if they lose their next matches. Well thanks to championship points as i understood.

Now what I didn't understand is what if FNC win LEC and they get 1st place and AQ for worlds? It says first place in playoffs wins the spot for worlds.

If FNC win LEC and get first place they get spot for Worlds main event and G2 get 2nd or 3rd and get spot for worlds main even because of championship points, how will then regional work?

Because then with regionals 3 teams will join the main event from EU and 1 for play-in.

What i want to know is can 3 teams enter main event from EU or not? I know they can't but I found out that 1st place in LEC gets spot for worlds and so does the team with most championship points and the winner off regionals.

G2 has secured a spot in Worlds due to having secured enough Championship Points that no other team can overtake them (Origen is closest to them but they are not in playoffs).

If FNC win the Split, they're into Worlds; nothing else to do. G2 by result of their Championship Points will have to fight the winner of the Regional Qualifier (between OG, RGE, S04, SPY) for the 2nd seed and Group Stage entry while the loser of that match gets the 3rd seed and have to play the Play In Stage.

In other words, think it the same as past seasons but the only difference is the team with most points has to fight for their 2nd seed against the RQ winner.

so if G2 would lose LEC finals and get 2nd or 3rd and FNC get 1st or someone else they would get spot #2 for the regionals is what u mean?
