Can Team Liquid make worlds?
As a Liquid fan, I have to believe that this is the year we don't choke...

Can they? Yes. Will they? That depends if they keep up how they're doing at the end of this split in the Summer.
Can they? Yes. Will they? It all depends on how their rookies do in the summer. While I have zero confidence in them doing anything in the spring playoffs (they'd need TSM to upset C9 to avoid immortals in the 2nd round), the overall track record for north american rookies in their second split isn't actually that bad.

AKASUISEI " Matt is gonna carry hard!" yeah I agree I think Team liquid will go to the finals but not sure about worlds too far away to tell but I think this is their year to shine. The team took a different route with their players.
Top Doesn't have Quas a player who in the video camera thing NEVER talks so they got rid of the mute player who doesn't communicate>
JNG IWD is gone so thats ok, he was good player so was Quas but for Dom he never really understood power spikes from his team. Look up some Imaqtpie vids where he duo with dom and let me know when Dom is like " OH YOUR DEAD" and gets proven wrong over and over again.
Sup Xpec was good but was kinda "OLD" he also had that I'm a god- team sucks look on his face 24/7, always frowning and s**T. Like get out of here guy. 
TL is actually a really good team, it just took them half of the Spring split to figure out how to be good together. Still, as my second favorite team (behind C9), I wish them the best. Piglet is quietly the best ADC in NA and I have no issues saying that. He might be better than anyone EU has to offer too though I don't keep as close of track on EU.
Team liquid will have a chance, and even will be a favorite to make it, but will screw it up and will find fourth place once more. FOREVER FOURTH! THE CURSE LIVES ON!
Hopefully they prove me wrong but I think the pressure will be too much to handle for a 60% rookie team.
I mean to be fair, the team is now completely rid of the teams on old Team Curse days with Quas, Dominate and Xpecial having left the team. Don't get wrong, I like all of those players I just feel like any year, "forever fourth" would just put them all on tilt and drive them to lose. This new lineup, doesn't know what that's like so at least there's that.
Its only spring split, a lot will change from now until worlds, especially when the Best of series become normal for the LCS. There are also roster changes to account for next split as well. So they can make it depending on how well they finish spring and how well they can perform next split.
Just remember that UOL went from participating in the finals of spring split last year to not even making it to worlds. C9 similarly narrowly made it to worlds after appearing in the finals of the spring split last year as well. A lot will change in one split.
