Can we stop with the unavoidable spoilers please

I get that anytime you're watching something after the fact that you have to beware spoilers. It is all too easy to accidentally see a facebook post from a player that gives away a result; or an analyst or streamer to comment on said result.

I've even gotten smarter about Riot's own boards. I leave the VOD page up if needed, because results are regularly posted on their esports and main pages.

Such was the case when I took the family out to dinner for Mothers day last night. I'd only seen a couple of the SKT vs. Fnatic games, and was looking forward to watching them this morning while doing assorted things on my other monitor.

I start up the games this morning, and decide to play a quick LoL game of my own first. Filling up the main news box was the result of BOTH games yesterday.

I can get if you want to advertise "MID SEASON FINALS TODAY", but try to leave out the results if possible. Or let me check a setting to avoid spoilers.

**TL;DR: **I get that there are spoilers everywhere, but that doesn't mean RIOT should make it worse if not impossible to view matches after the fact.

Yes, I fully agree. I've had this problem in the past and Riot has once again become the really loud coworker that storms into your cubicle and says "So how about that fanatic loss last night ey?"

Spoilers are bad! There are no ands ifs or buts about it and they piss people off, so why are you posting results on the Launcher, something required to be viewed if you even want to play the game, for a e-sport event that happened YESTERDAY.

Yes, I understand you want to advertise and hype your e-sport event and promote interest. People can't always watch these events live and some prefer to watch them in vod form so they can skip the annoying technical difficulties that happen from time to time.

Don't force spoilers on the launch page! Some of us pay attention and can put 2 and 2 together. If you say if EDG and SKT1 are playing...that means they won their matches right?

The only other option you leave is for me not to play the game during big events or even watch any streamers during it either as their stream will flash the spoilers on the homepage as well.

Very shameful on you Riot.
