My predictions:

EDG and White - Royal Club and TPA - Blue and Fnatic - Alliance and C9

Although I want C9 or Fnatic to win Worlds, I think Alliance, White, EDG, or Blue are going to win it all.

Here are my 2 cents for the predictions. A: Edg, and White (Obviously) B: Royal, and either Tsm or TPA (I would say TSM has a better chance tho) C: Blue, and most likely OMG (however FNC and LMQ both have a chance for the second seed) D: NWS, and ALL (C9 might be able to beat ALL though I would say ALL has a better chance)

Korea's Samsung teams are both just overall very dominant, while White Shield has been doing extremely well as of late.

China is definitely second to Korea with EDG being the fresh team finding immediate success (very similar to SKT K last year)

China's Royal club made 2nd last year and are still looking pretty good.

OMG is the fan favourite, however they have been under preforming lately.

Both of NA's and EU's #1 teams will probably make it due to the group matchups.

I tried to do this without making biased decisions, but I want TSM to win :)

Group B is the Zoo: Puppy (U.z.i), CandyPanda, WildTurtle, Jay

With that said, predictions are:

Group A: EDG and Samsung White

Group B: Super close, Gonna bet on TPA and TSM. (SK has huge dark horse potential, if they beat TSM they're in IMO, but I'm biased.)

Group C: Samsung Blue and FNatic.

Group D: Samsung White and C9

Group A is 100% EDG and White. Group B will be led by Royal Club; I would put the odds of the second spot at 55% TSM, 40% TPA, and 5% SK Gaming. Group C is more interesting. My personal odds on the group are Blue 95%, OMG 55%, Fnatic 40%, and LMQ 10% to advance. Group D I put Shield 90%, and Alliance and C9 both at 55%.

My predictions: Those who make it out of the round of 16 EDG and White-Royal Club and TSM-Blue and OMG-Alliance and Najin White Shield Those who make it out of the round of 8 White-Blue-EDG-Najin White Shield Finals Blue-Najin White Shield Winner Najin White Shield

Honestly i think the only different things that might happen besides this is in the round of 16 alliance might beat najin for the first seed possibly so then it would be in the round of 4 White-Najin White Shield-EDG-Alliance Another thing is that i think that either Blue, Najin White Shield, White, Alliance or EDG have the best chances to win it all. I know a lot of people will wonder why I picked Najin White Shield and the reason was because in the 3rd place regional qualifier for Korea they eerily looked similar to SKT T1K from Season 3 Korean 3rd place spot. Najin White Shield just played crazy in the games at the qualifiers they stomped KT Arrows who beat Blue with a (3-0) victory and then they defeated SKT as well. So my money is on either Blue, Najin White Shield or if EDG beats the Korean Wrecking Ball.

I am just gonna say I could see Dade choking again. If a samsung team chokes primarily blue it should be interesting. C9 has proven to be pretty damn good when they bootcamp and I would not be surprised if they pulled at least one win off of shield. I expect them to go toe to toe with All. Kabum will be free wins most likely. Group A is a no contest free ride for EDG and White.I feel that TSM should be able to pull it out and as should Starhorn Royal club. TPA has had a rater poor showing on international stages as of late but they could dark horse it if TSM and Royal Club get too arrogant. FNC has had a rather poor showing against Korea as of late but that was months ago so maybe they can pull it back up here but I do expect OMG to take first seed in this group. Group D I want C9 and All to make it but I feel like Shield can't be underestimated sadly.

Group of Death Group D

Fiet9/9/2014, 10:17:14 AM1 votes

Pool A: White and EDG

Pool B: Royal and TSM

Pool C: Blue and Fnatic or OMG is gonna be a close one for second

Pool D: I don't know how people could think C9 and ALL is gonna be close. ALL will destroy C9 and I believe they will win pool D. Second will be White shield probably but C9 might have a chance against them. Like a 20% chance C9 will take second over white shield. But how people can believe C9 could take down Alliance is beyond me.

PassMeTheBamboo9/9/2014, 12:16:33 PM1 votes

Could someone explain to me what relevance those seeds have? I don't really understand why they're there. Is it so that the teams get put in groups with teams with a lower/same seed?

0neSh0tGG9/9/2014, 2:46:41 PM1 votes

Group A White and EDG (that was a tough one) Group B TSM and SK I know you all think I'm stupid right now and honestly I see no reason why not to. But look at it this way. SK right now is in a better state than Fnatic so potentionally they are the 2. seed , the reason why I think this way is the way they played against All , they put up much more resistance than Fnatic. Also they 3 : 0 Roccat with ease and Fnatic barely won against them 3 : 2. This could mean something or nothing at all. so the final view is that if SK don't make out of the group stage neither will Fnatic. Group C Samsung Blue and Fnatic I say that cause Fnatic came up big at worlds last year and I think they will this year too. Group D Alliance and C9 I don't know why Shield is being so praised right now. Yes they are 9 :1 the playoffs. But that is be because noone was preparing for them cause they were the underdogs. If KTA went instead they would probably be my favorites to win it aswell. But yet again this is just my opinion and most of you won't even bother to read.

Predictions:

Group A - EDG and White Group B - Royal Club and TSM Group C - Blue and Fnatic /maybe, I hope) Group D - NWS and Alliance

Blue or EDG to take it all.

Ldzeppelin9/10/2014, 3:37:38 AM1 votes

My Predictions:

Group A: 1. Edward Gaming 2. Samsung White

Well there is not much to talk about in this Group, i think EDG and SSW have a clear advantage over AHq and DP, it's just left to see how many games Ahq and DP will be able to take from the top two seeds.

Group B: 1. StarHorn Royal Club 2. Team Solomid

This is a Group with a clear number 1, SHRYL will be top of this Group, not just because of their experience, they are a very good team overall with a very strong botlane. Then there will be a battle for number 2 spot as i think TPA, TSM AND SK all stand equal chances of winning that spot. I don't get why so many people have rued out SK already, i shall remind you that europe's LCS is far more competitive than NA's LCS and i think SK can do damag to both TSM and TPA. On the other hand TSM are a powerhouse and i think that this will get them in the end the number 2 spot.

Group C: 1. OMG 2. Fnatic

As well said the group of death. This Group will mainlybe a battle between OMG, Fnatic and SSB. I think Fnatic will absolutely destroy SSB as they did last year, Fnatic is far too unpredictable and they can use this to thir advantage. OMG on the other hand will be absolutely dominant they will beat most of their matches.

Group D: 1. Alliance 2. Naijin White Shield

Dull Group. Only Alliance shines out of this group.

Teslyn9/10/2014, 4:16:37 AM1 votes

your telling me that NA has a chance. if the groups where lanes.. Group A: Jungle, Group B: Top lane, Group C: Bot lane, Group D: Mid lane.

Group A will be a surprise much like what junglers do. Group B is just going to be a brawl. Group C is a blood bath and Group D is going to be a controlled dance.

Dd LiLBoss9/8/2014, 11:44:04 PM1 votes

predictions: GROUP A: EDG and White..... GROUP B: Starhorn + either one (im leaning towards TSM coz im biased but i wouldnt be surprised if either SK or TPA got it either)..... GROUP C: cant decide.. im leaning towards Blue + one other team.. that bracket is harsh GROUP D: Shield + (either c9 or alliance)
