im just wondering as i wasnt very interested league back then but it was the time when bjergsen went mid Karma a couple times and even got a pentakill. i just want to know why it stopped so suddenly. did Riot change Karma or why did bjergsen choose to go mid karma then suddenly stop? i just want to know why karma was a good mid pick for bjergsen then out of nowhere it just stopped because i did not notice any karma nerfs or anything.

basically this, and assassins won't be played for much longer because they also can't kill tanks.
I mean LeBlanc is the only one that comes to mind that would stay just because her damage is retarded and AoE but assassins like Ahri/Zed will probably fall out of favor.

First, Grail was nerfed. Second, Control Mages fell out of favor for assassins. Third, Tanks come in. Assassin start to drop because of Tanks. Forth, Tanks are still in and Grail is buffed. Control Mages fall out of favor for tanks because who doesn't want to live forever?
X8ViEhkPS01 votesI went through the spring split and found out that Bjergsen only played mid Karma twice. Ever, and that was in the playoffs. Once against CLG for the pentakill, and once against C9 and lost.

X8ViEhkPS01 votesProbably because at the time Karma was seeing quite a bit of play in the support role (and over in Europe top lane and jungle), and locking in an early Karma would open up counter picks in either the bot lane or mid lane. It was probably a strategic thing over anything else.
