LCS Pro Tips: Lee Sin

With the transition from mostly tanky utility junglers to champions focused more on damage, Lee Sin has become one of the most popular picks in the LCS. Don’t believe us? During this LCS split, Lee Sin has been picked 98 times and banned 49 more. A 91.9% prioritization rate isn’t all that surprising given that his high skill cap is rewarded with strong engage power and early game control. But before you go rushing to solo queue to call jungle, remember that picking up the Blind Monk means learning one of the most mechanically demanding champions in the League. So what’s the secret to stepping up your game? We asked you to choose your favorite LCS Lee Sin players to offer their Pro Tips. With 10,000 Twitter responses, CLG’s Dexter, C9’s Meteos, and TSM’s Amazing landed in the hot seat. Read on for their tips and make sure to vote for your favorite Syndra player for next week's Pro Tips!

1. Dexter - 37% (4,287 Votes)

    LCS Lee Sin Stats:
  • Games Played: 3
  • Games Won: 1
  • Win Rate: 33.3%
  • Average KDA: 2.7
While Lee Sin's strong engage abilities are part of the reason that he is so popular, going in might not always be the answer. When you can fly through the air toward the enemy carry, it's pretty easy to get Lee Syndrome, which only makes me think of this video....

2. Amazing - 32% (3,738 Votes)

    LCS Lee Sin Stats:
  • Games Played: 6
  • Games Won: 4
  • Win Rate: 66.7%
  • Average KDA: 7.4
With all of Lee Sin's mechanical demands, pulling off an amazing kick or a great ward jump can up your confidence very easily. Amazing's tip is a reminder that there's always room for improvement with any champion, but especially one with this high of a skill cap.

3. Meteos - 11% (1,231 Votes)

    LCS Lee Sin Stats:
  • Games Played: 9
  • Games Won: 7
  • Win Rate: 77.8%
  • Average KDA: 5.7
The ward jump is an integral part of learning Lee Sin, and smart casting your ward drops is a great way to make learning this skill faster and easier. It can be the difference between living and dying, or the move that lets you get the last hit for the kill. Meteos shows a great example of this when he flash ward jumps to help finish off Curse's Voyboy. Let us know what you think of the series and submit your own tips by using #LCSProTips.
