Top talent will put their meta-breaking gambles to the test against some of their toughest rivals during the Challenger Series (CS) Playoffs. With a guaranteed LCS spot on the line for the first place CS team and an opportunity to fight for an LCS spot at the Promotion Tournament, these Challenger teams are sure to bring their all at Spring Playoffs.

Format

The CS Spring playoffs will be a Best of 3 (Bo3s) bracket with Bo5 finals over the following 2 weeks:
  • CS Spring Playoffs, Quarterfinals: March 31 and April 1
  • CS Spring Playoffs, 3rd Place: April 7
  • CS Spring Playoffs, Finals: April 8

  • Final Five
EU CS
  • Origen
  • Copenhagen Wolves Academy (formerly LowLandLions White)
  • Gamers2
  • Reason Gaming (DEU relinquished their Playoffs spot, read the full ruling here)

What’s on the line?

The 1st place team after CS Playoffs will automatically qualify for the LCS Summer Split. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers from Playoffs will qualify for the Promotion Tournament on April 25-26 where they will face off against the 8th and 9th place LCS teams to be a part of the Summer LCS. The losing teams from the Promotion Tournament will qualify for the Challenger Series Summer Split.

Origen and LLL, for EU

I hope both of these teams make it. Origen is good enough for sure, and ive been a fan of LLL since watching them week 1. The way they swept round 1 one playoff bracket was impressive

Enemy and TDK for NA

Enemy will probably make it not sure about TDK.
