As we know Europe suck right now, especially France is the worst one. I wonder to know if Riot can guarantee their safety. LOL's esports is just a competition that has certain influence, but compare with FIFA World Cup, Olympics even MLA, lol's s-game is still nothing. Terrorists will love this level of activity. Yesterday White House just declared they shut down the head of ISIS. If they want to revenge to show their influence and they are mad, here is a chance for them. They are too familiar with Europe especially France which make me very uncomfortable.

God damn, if Riot want to find an outstanding city in Europe to spread their value and product, their are many other choice of great and safe city which also good for big activity. I don't know why London is not picked this time, maybe European is not happy with they are fighting on get out the EU. But Riot's people still have other choice. They should go back to middle school's geography class and do some research about Vienna, Zurich and Geneva.

I wonder if you've ever been to Europe. Statistically, Europe is a lot safer than the USA. Here a comparison: in Europe in 2017 81 people were killed by terrorist attacks. Meanwhile in the USA (2017) every day 109 persons died by firearms. So your worries are really unfounded.

While I don't want to sound dismissive of attacks and problems radicals pose, I think you are overthinking.

First, if you let terror control you, the terrorists win. Their entire goal is to put that fear into you.

Second, LoL isn't likely to be something on their radar as a target.

Third, unless I've missed something, there haven't been any coordinated terror attacks by multiple people. It's stuff like random guy driving a truck into a random crowd. That and gang type violence against isolated targets. Not stuff that should make you afraid to go to a venue for entertainment.

I mean, sure the security for World cup etc is much more strict but you have to keep in mind there are 60.000+ crowds there and it's with matches happening in multiple cities across a country so that's almost. I don't think it's quite the same attendance with lol worlds, and it's mostly in one venue per day.
