*to be fair at least the Leafs have won the Stanley Cup. May have been a million years ago but at least they've done it.

This is why fans need to wait till week 2. Week 1 is normally decided by the randomness of each team. Sure, you can research a team but it's not the same as playing them.
On the second week, you played enough scrim, learn how each players thinks and plays. That's when things go bad for all NA teams except C9. C9 tends to do okay in week 2. I hope C9 gets out. They represent NA in body and spirit
As I Vikings fan I can tell you that watching NA at worlds is exactly like watching the Vikings choke in the playoffs year after year. Shades of 12 men on the field in the 2009 NFC Championship against the Saints or Blair Wlash shanking that chip shot field goal against the Seahawks a few years back. Or starting 6-0 and then collapsing and missing the playoffs altogether last year.
