Never thought he was a bad guy..just..not a fan of his play style. Plus always thought he was a bit sub-par for a pro..I mean he's better than me..so..there's that...but... Probably better for TSM's career.

Pro video gamer= job. Job = doing something with your life. Well paid job = doing well doing something with your life.

You make anywhere close to 400k a year? I mean I'm sure Dyrus wasn't the 'highest paid professional gamer in the United States' But TSM is pretty high up there in popularity (which sometimes can mean more money than actually winning tournaments), and he's been with them from the beginning...

Wouldn't talk down on him like he's just some loser playing video games in his parent's basement. Pro scene is a pretty legit job. I wouldn't doubt if he moved on to private coaching from here. Any idea how much some Silver 2 rich kid would pay DYRUS to teach him how to be good?

Plus he has a very big following. If he goes to full time streaming he will make more money than he did as a professional.

Probably hotels, fangirls, and red bull/alcohol.

Or the smart ones probably save a huge amount of it till they retire at 25 or so and work part time and just chill for a couple years living off of savings before settling down to a normal job/spouse/all that fun stuff.

Hell man, everyone who has to work full time doesn't get much free time either, and less money, and doing work that isn't fun at all.

At least pro gamers get to spend their 20's fucking off, playing video games, and still probably come out ahead of most 'normal' people.

Though it's not all just fucking off and playing games. Lot of work into pro playing. Math, statistics, grinding training, memorizing a bunch of spreadsheet stuff, traveling/sleeping away from home. But it's still gotta be a hell of a lot more fun than a 9-5 mon-friday job.

Probably going to convetions and stuff, meeting some people around the world. I think Dyrus likes Korea and Japan, he probably visits that ... well, at least now he can enjoy the country and doesn't have to practice 10 hours a day. It's not like he is stopping working, he get's money for being at a convention, and he gets a shit ton of money by streaming fulltime, far more than he got as a professional.
