Pobelter: Winterfox's shadow assassin

It's risky to pick Zed. "The problem with Zed is that, I feel like if you play perfectly against Zed, the Zed will lose. But players are human and players make mistakes. Yet if Zed gets a couple kills, he gets rolling," or so says Winterfox's mid laner Eugene "Pobelter" Park. He backed up that concept by going 9/1/4 on the shadow assassin in his Week 2 NA LCS match against Team Dignitas. As he explains it, "Zed's laning is really strong." After getting an early kill on Danny "Shiphtur" Le's Azir, he was able to snowball, which is exactly what he was hoping for. "I started split pushing and I pushed down like four or five turrets that game. From that point, it's just really easy to win because you can set up wards everywhere in their jungle and get every objective." From his point of view, Winterfox executed the split push game cleanly. "They couldn't stop it because I was so farmed." And while champions like Xerath and Ezreal may be making their mark in mid lane, Pobelter's happy to slash through the Rift with his own confident style. "I'm a risky kind of guy. I like playing champions who you can do indivudual things with and outplay your opponents." You can watch Pobelter and Winterfox next week when they take on Counter Logic Gaming and Team 8, right here on Lolesports. To catch up on the LCS, head over to our spoiler-free VODs page.
