If it was a week+ old, I could understand. Having literal same day match spoilers when https://www.reddit.com/r/LoLeventVoDs/, a free service, doesn't, should not be acceptable when this is the landing page. No settings you need to turn off first, no warnings, just in your face spoilers. What is even the point of having spoiler prevention on proview when we can't even get there without being spoiled? Plus, this is an issue that was brought up when the lolesports website first launched, yet it's been untouched years later, even when it's a portal to a paid service. Supremely disappointing.

I'm disappointed in snowflakes constantly coming and whining about "spoilers" when every major sport shows results of matches on their main page.

imagine calling someone else a snowflake when you can't even move past a post online without crying about it. I'm complaining about a product that's inferior to something free, you're just bitching at the void that is strangers on the internet.

Yes, I'm damn sick of dumbasses coming to the Esports section and crying about "spoilers" for competition sports on their webpage for said sport. NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, etc...will ALL HAVE SPOILERS on their page. It's normal. This isn't a movie or TV series. The match is over, time to hype the next matchups coming. It's normal for sports and I'm tired of the random nobodies that never discuss Esports on here about anything coming here during LCS playoffs, MSI, or World's ONLY and crying about "spoilers". The world should not conform to you when you don't like standard practice.

Just like this isn't a movie or tv series, this isn't a physical sport either. Esports having spoiler tags is much more common, yet you just ignore the "standard practice" you don't like and substitute a standard practice of something else. The pro view itself also has spoiler tags. The ONLY place that doesn't is the landing page you log in on, so it's a matter of consistency. If pro view had no spoiler options, if they showed they never cared about it in the past, you might have a point. However, the reality is your entire argument goes against the standard operating procedure everywhere else on the website, so even if you don't think lol should have spoilers riot has proven through their services THEY do... so you are arguing against riot's "standard practice". Wouldn't complain if there were no options anywhere because that would be consistent.

TL;DR consistency is important, you are basing off of irrelevant things rather than riot's standard operating procedure. Riot should not conform to you when you don't like that their standard practice is different from normal sports.

The reality is this is YEARS of irritation of dummies like you coming each LCS playoffs, MSI, or World's cycle and crying about spoilers when clearly its normal to have the future matchups shown or headlines about who won!

Furthermore, Pro View is a premium function that you pay to get extra bells and whistles, so it doesn't also go for freeloaders to get the same benefits!

Finally, even if in other Esports it's "more common" (which still doesn't mean nearly universal) practice, like I said before, people like you cry about this EVERY YEAR when you clearly aren't that invested or knowledgeable about Esports to talk about it any other time or about anything else than your precious bubble being spoiled!

News flash, the results aren't spoiled, you are.

You can't even respond to basic arguements and resort to strawman personal attacks about "investment" or "snowflake" because you have no legitimate points to make. You have no idea how "invested" people are, you can't accept a simple QOL being added. Most people complain when a service isn't up to their standards, and most people move on when they see something they don't like on the internet. You, however, can't stand when someone asks for something simple, "I have to insult this idiot or I won't be able to sleep tonight!". It was a waste of my time dealing with someone as pathetic as you, so in that sense I guess you "win". You can go home head held high, good job little guy you did it you won!
