As we wind down to the end of the regular season, teams all over the world are fighting to win their regional championships. Pride, glory, and the chance to play in the Mid Season Invitational are on the line. See how each of the regions is shaping up and learn about your favorite teams' path to the Playoffs below.

North America

The Playoffs begin Saturday April 5, where the top six teams from the region will battle in a single-elimination bracket. Along with the chance to be NA Champions comes Championship points that go towards team's chances to go to Worlds, and a spot in the Mid-Season Invitational. The only teams who have locked in a Playoff spot in North America are Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming, with the rest of the spots still up for grabs. However only one team of the bottom four has a chance to make Playoffs: Team Liquid. Many seeds will change depending on results of Week 9. You can catch the NA LCS Playoffs at watch.lolesports.com on Saturday, April 5.

Europe

Similar to NA, the European LCS is in Week 9 and the playoffs begin Saturday, April 5, where EU's top six teams will fight for the title. In addition to Championship points, the winner of the EU LCS will earn a spot in the Mid Season Invitational. SK Gaming has all but locked in the first seed in the Playoffs and will automatically advance to the Semifinals. Therefore, the only Playoff spot still up for grabs is No. 6, which could go to Copenhagen Wolves, Elements or Team ROCCAT, depending on how the last week goes. Many of the seeds may change depending on what happens in Week 9. You can catch the EU LCS Playoffs at watch.lolesports.com on Saturday, April 5.

Korea

League Champions Korea (LCK) begins their playoffs on Friday, April 17, where the top four teams will battle in Best of 5 matches. Similar to the LCS format, Circuit Points will be up for grabs as well as a spot in the Mid Season Invitational. While GE Tigers and SK Telecom T1 have locked in Playoff spots, the other two spots are still up for grabs. Currently CJ Entus and Jin Air Green Wings have the inside track, but anything can happen in the last few games. You can watch the LCK Playoffs at watch.lolesports.com on Friday, April 17.

China

The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) begins Playoffs on Tuesday, April 14, where the top eight teams will fight in a marathon bracket. The Playoffs in LPL are double-elimination and each match is a Best of 5. EDward Gaming cannot be knocked out of first place, and both OMG and Snake Esports have confirmed spots in the Playoffs, but all other spots are still contested. Be sure to tune into the final matches of the regular season to see who will earn their way into the Playoffs. You can watch the LPL Playoffs at watch.lolesports.com on Tuesday, April 14.

Taiwan

CIS

The top six teams from Starladder make the Playoffs and they are about to begin. The first round is played single-elimination, but the last two rounds are played double-elimination. Something is wrong with the brazilian section. It says Kabum black advanced in the braket picture but it says they were defeated in the text below it.

Cloud 9 got second though? Why does it say that the only two teams that got playoff spot are CLG and TSM? Is should be C9 and TSM, right?

I'm wonder how the color chart works for the NA and EU bracket. If the pink means "possible promotional tournament", then Meet Your Makers shouldn't be highlighted. Provided they win twice this week, Elements lose twice, and Roccat lose twice, there will be a 3 way tie for 7th place with Giants Gaming being auto relegated.

The playoffs indeed began on Saturday - but Saturday is April 4, not 5. April 5 is Easter Sunday.

Cloud 9 has also secured a playoff spot in NA. Even if Team Liquid 2-0, they would only tie with Cloud 9 if they then went 0-2, and Cloud 9 owns the head-to-head match up against them, and thus they cannot fall down to 7th place. (I believe this is how that works, but correct me if I'm wrong.)

TrollFan013/26/2015, 12:00:03 AM1 votes

If TSM beats CST on Saturday then they're guaranteed 1st place seed. even if they go 1-1 and end the round robin at 13-5 NO team can catch them. Even if CLG go 2-0 and end at 13-5 TSM owns the head-to-head against them so TSM will be #1 no matter what.

Team Liquid has a really high chance to make playoff. They are facing Winterfox and Dig week 9. Pretty easy Schedule.

But on top of that fact Gravity and Team 8 also face each other so one of them has to lose. Both of those teams are also facing 1 top team each of C9 and CLG before that game.

the last 2 games of the NA LCS will possible fight for place in playoffs and who makes second place(possible with tie breaker game).
